Hi, I'm Smithy. I'm nineteen, a college student, and a writer in increasingly less denial of the fact.I try to sound really interesting but I'm actually quite boring (and most of the interesting events in my life are long behind me, which - is actually quite odd for someone who's only nineteen? but oh well). I'm an English major and thus one of those sort of pretentious literary types? I'm one of those people who thinks they have something really intelligent to say all the time but just ends up sounding like an Oscar Wilde knockoff.
I have a number of ill-defined mental illnesses and other such problems. Rather than properly solving these issues and problems, I do interesting and/or inadvisable things in reaction. Either the nicest, most benevolent narcissist or the most unempathetic, self-absorbed nice person you're likely either way to meet. Astoundingly good at doublethink.
My personality is composed predominantly of pretension, escapism, irony, fiction, obscurity, and tea.
