About

Hi, I'm Logan Glitterbomb! heart
I'm a 23 year old nerdy Cajun lesbian transgirl transplanted from the Louisiana bayou to the Florida swamp
I was raised by nerds. One day in my grandma's youth, she discovered one of her father's science fiction novels and has never looked back. Ever since she's been a ride or die sci-fi and horror fangirl. I remember how dedicated she was to her shows throughout my childhood: Buffy, Angel, Charmed, Battlestar Galactica, every Star Trek series, X-Files, Twilight Zone...even now I call her every week so we can chat about the latest episode of Gotham. She has a large horror movie collection that includes full runs of the entire Hellraiser, Nightmare on Elm Street, Friday the 13th, Halloween, Chucky, and The Omen series and a sizable novel collection.
And she raised my daddy amongst the fandom. He became facinated with all things science fiction, fantasy, animation, comic books, and anime. Grandma encouraged this within him, regularly bringing him to the comic shop and dropping him off for an hour or so so that he was able to look thru every single back issue box for anything cool just like he enjoyed doing. Years later he and my uncle started a comic book shop, Dragons Tale Comics and Games, where I spent most of my days after school sorting comics, reading, playing with action figures, and trying to convince daddy to let me trade him for the coolest Pokémon cards he had in stock (did I mention that I was the coolest kid on the block in 2nd grade because I had the best cards). When I wasn't there, home, or at school, I was at the Tae Kwon Do studio down the block from the shop practicing.
When he died, I inherited much of his collection including anime VHS tapes, imported anime posters and comic art, action figures including original Star Wars figures, a Pee Wee Herman yo-yo, a s**t ton of trading card ranging from X-Men to DBZ and even an unopened box of Animerica trading cards, and at least 12 boxes of comics.
When I eventually moved to Florida in 2005, I discovered a local anime and gaming store near where we now lived. One visit I noticed a pamphlet for MegaCon and I immediately begged for a ticket to the upcoming one. My first con opened up a whole new world of fandom possiblitiy to me and i immediately fell in love. I've kept up the streak and have made it there every year since 2006 without fail. Now I even work the Troma Films booth every year with Lloyd Kaufman and the crew and have even been in two short videos they've released from the con. I'm also a lifetime pass member for EXP Con but who knows if that will ever happen again.
As a fan my life highlights include shaking hands with Stan Lee and hearing him talk about smoking "marijuana cigarettes," being the Toxic Avenger for the Troma booth and Bootleg Toxie for the interview we did with Rick Gianasi from Sgt. Kabukiman NYPD, hanging out with Brian Johnson of Comic Book Men while he geeked out about meeting Lloyd Kaufman, watching my friend tear up while hugging George Perez, and hanging out with David Liebe Hart from Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job! while he was crashing at my house while on a comedy tour (it's not an act, he talks a lot about aliens and Jesus)
Currently I'm focusing on building my cosplay closet, working at one of the only independent video rental stores left in the world, writing comics and movie scripts, and binge watching Netflix and Hulu.
