Hi! I'm Kayla! I'm 19! I am a full time college student, a full time marching band member, and a busy, busy, busy person because of this! I am engaged to my wonderful guy, Keith. We got engaged on July 14th, 2008. I feel that I have been lucky enough to find my match in life, and I thank God for blessing me with that.I am in school to be a high school teacher. I want to teach history! I feel that history has always gotten a bad rep as being boring, and I want to be a teacher that changes that view. History can be fun and interesting, but it's all in how you look at it. My goal is to change this, as I said.

When not doing school work or band practice, I like to listen to music ((all kinds)), hang out with friends, read, write poetry, browse around online, and other such things.
My number 1 hero always has and always will be my grandmother. She passed away from cancer July 2, 2008. I helped care for her in the last months, and it was one of the hardest things I've ever had to do. I do not regret it, and if I can be 1/4 of the woman she was, I can make it through anything life throws at me.
