Halloween Night: A Poem From My Twisted Mind

You're with your friend, you have to pee
you go upstairs, no light to see

you're in your room, you hear a sound
flick on the lights, no one's around

You hear a scream, you go downstairs
Your friend is dead, you stand and stare

She's covered in blood, you can't think straight
But you know she didn't deserve this fate

You're in such shock that you don't hear
The sound of footsteps coming near

But when you turn, your dear old mom
Slits your throat like nothing's wrong smile
