yeaaah i was thinking about how some irl casinos can probably make away with house edge at all overall and just sell memberships, drinks and food but that wouldn't work on gaia
yea! also this has probably been thought of already but you definitely want to run simulations on how much an individual person should be allowed to bet at once or within a timeframe so that 95% of the times, you can give out payouts asap, and don't end up in situations where the bank gets broken and everybody gets annoyed
I mean, the double zero just means that it is one more possible outcome in the sample space of all possible outcomes tho, so instead of viewing gaia's RNG as generating a number between 0 to 36, you could have it generate a number between 0 to 37 which are still 38 outcomes, and say that 37 does not count as an odd number, so this would give you the same house edge, but also i suppose saying that 37 is not going to win when betting for odd numbers may be bad gamefeel, but i think it is more honest xp
but yeah laxer house edge would work anyways 4laugh
it is kinda baffling though that gaia forum can't generate negative numbers, because then you could just do -1 to 36 and treat -1 as a double zero
