Plot
The second youngest of 6 brothers, Tierran was born in Faerindane to the Lady Elbrith. At birth he and his twin brother Trellen were marked by the Elder Dorathion as the future guardians to the Sybill. Just a few days later at Teirran's and Trellen's christening, the seer of Faerindane predicted the coming of the Sybill and with her the Millenium War between our parallel worlds of mortals and immortals sometime within their twentieth years. With this knowledge Lady Elbrith had her youngest sons trained along side the finest warriors as well as hunters and mariners. By the ages of 13 both Trellen and Tierran discovered each were gifted in Magyck; and with the utmost secrecy practiced the forbidden art form. In this way they lived relatively peacefully aside from the jealousy of their siblings.Tierran and Trellen are mirrors, identical in reflection. Despite Teirran being born first, he is the copy of Trellen, therefore, the true youngest of the 6 brothers. This was discovered during a hunt when Duolbrech, the second eldest brother, put an arrow through Tierran believing he was Trellen. Trellen is the favorite of his father, charismatic, energetic, proud, and honorable, Trellen is the embodiment of an ideal son. Envious of his brother’s skills, popularity, and favoritism, Duolbrech and the 4 brothers conspired to slay Trellen in a tragic hunting accident. Unbeknownst to him Trellen asked Tierran to take his place while gaming so he could settle a score over gambling debts accumulated by a neighboring Lord’s son and a pair of loaded dice. Duolbrech’s arrow would have pierced the heart of any normal man, resulting in a slow, agonizing death. In the event Teirran became the mirror of Trellen, his heart and all other organs reversed placement in his body. Where his heart should be, instead is a lung, and that coincidence saved his life.
Teirran is the wise one, knowledgeable, understanding, virtuous, and most importantly, forgiving. Rather than expose the truth, Teirran forgave Duolbrech thus earning unyielding respect and trust of him and his brothers at age 17.
Now, Tierran and Trellen are 25 and take their prophesized destiny with a grain of salt.
