About Me:I play the flute and am extremely proud to be a band geek. It is a bad idea to insult band geeks or band geeks will plan against you and might attack you with thier instruments....wait, I don't think most band geeks want their instruments bloody. Fair warning though?
It is finally summer and I found out right before the end of school that I am section leader for the flute section for marching band and pep band. I am really excited for our field show, we are doing Pirates of the Carribean and I have to memorize the music in time for band camp. I am expecting to have to help 4 incoming freshmen flutes learn how to march.
I have recently joined the school's Jazz band, in which I am now learning how to play the alto saxophone and am becoming quite good at it. It is a lot easier to play that flute because it requires a LOT less air. My goal for the summer concerning my saxophone is to get all the parts that I was not able to play during school down and be able to play them.
I have summer assignments I get to do. I get to read the Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald, answer study guide questions, write an essay, and take notes on the book for my AP Language class. And I have to do a packet for my AP US History class. My other summer 'assignment' is to memorize the music for the field show.
And I am getting 3 of my wisdom teeth pulled on June 26th and I am kinda freaking out, if my creepy wisdom teeth dreams mean anything.
I enjoy reading,drawing, playing video games, talking w/ people online and hanging out with my friends. I enjoy oragami and most anything having to do w/ the outdoors such as, camping, hunting, boating and hiking. My favorite outdoor thing to do is enjoy simple things, like walking when all the trees are just beginning to change in Autumn and staring at stars on a clear night, no matter how cold it is outside. I am a also certified SCUBA diver and enjoy it very much. Well, I enjoy SCUBA diving until it becomes repetitive and you see very similar things.
