The Story

Was it wrong for wanting to love the person that made you a monster? Tonwe often asked herself that question as she stared out the tower window, trying to make out the world through the stained glass. She could feel the hunger growing inside her, a sickening carnal lust that terrified the young woman.

The man that had changed her, the one that made her crave the raw flesh of both man and animal had seduced her, a young noble woman out on her regular visits to fine banquets. Such smooth words, silken lies, charismatic smiles...and then darkness.

Her tail, the only physical clue to what struggled to escape her human frame, swished with impatience. Her will could keep all but the tail inside, like a scarf hanging out of a box.

Hearing the footsteps slowly making their way up to the tower which he had kept Tonwe in, her eyes moved from the window to the single rose by her bed, even after all these days, still fresh and bright as the blood he had made her crave...
