I've got an abundance of ideas I want to cosplay. Perhaps too many, in fact. I can't help it when inspiration occurs. I'm just developing each cosplay singly; one by one as time progress. Some cosplays won't be perfect initially, but I can at least start on them for now, and return to them later.
Apropos, are you new to Gaia or is this merely a mule account of yours?
Don't feel ashamed, too. In fact, it seems the majority of visitors to my profile only bother to visit because my cosplays pique their interest alone. Regarding me, personally, however, they couldn't care less. People can be that superficial, not surprisingly, though. Sometimes I even wonder if my cosplays are even worthwhile, at all. Whatever acknowledgment or appreciation I receive for making them seems to be heavily outweighed by the amount of stress incurred while investing my time, and effort into making these cosplays, themselves. I believe the reason why most people don't fully appreciate them is because they don't understand exactly how difficult it can be to create a cosplay in the first place. Everything is easier said than done, and there are several variables one must take into consideration while attempting a cosplay. If anyone of those variables don't go according to plan, the cosplay as a whole is potentially jeopardized, and all your time, effort and resources may have been wasted along with it. It seems that there's little merit anymore in the notion of "trying to succeed" in an endeavor, unless the result is absolute perfection. I apologize for my tirade, but it's an issue I've been forced to cope with for a while, and I've been meaning to explain it in a way that most can comprehend. It's also cathartic for me to vent distress such like this. It's unhealthy for me keep it suppressed for so long, too.
I admire the fact you're willing to look beyond my cosplaying hobby. Few indeed are willing to do this, and perhaps of those few that demonstrate getting to know me for me, and not for my cosplays, are the most worthy of acquainting. I extend my deepest gratitude.
I put comic strips in my favorite reads, because I obviously read them more frequently, than an actual book, apropos. The dictionary is book I think that should be read, and not merely classified as a reference, too. There's a plethora of words that are never even used anymore. What's the point of having them, then? There's no point in learning something, if you're never going to apply it.
