Difference between speak and talk:

Speak: intransitive verb~~ 1 a: to utter words or articulate sounds with the ordinary voice : talk b (1): to express thoughts, opinions, or feelings orally~~(2): to extend a greeting~~(3): to be friendly enough to engage in conversation <still were not speaking after the dispute>

Talk: transitive verb~~ 1: to deliver or express in speech : utter~~2: to make the subject of conversation or discourse : discuss <talk business>~~3: to influence, affect, or cause by talking <talked them into going>~~4: to use (a language) for conversing or communicating : speak intransitive verb

and yes, well is in proper use of that sentence; right could work, but then it would sound slangish...xDD

i might be getting a C in English class, but atleast i know how to talk...its the writing that kills me a little bit...xD
