"Forgive me..."
"I don't ...remember a lot."
Reopening her eyes, feeling the man called Wade, wipe the sweat away from her forehead.
"You seem kind, Mr. Wade."
She said as she reached up gently to touch the backside of his hand.
A wave of memories flooded her mind briefly before being locked up once again.
"Woah....talk about a rush."
She could hear a muffled sound of talk in the distance.
Glancing up everything was fuzzy and blurred beyond any recognition.
As if she was underwater, feeling her ears clogging up from the pressure she was feeling.
The piercing sound penetrated through a layer of her subconscious mind.
Shattering a memory, allowing some access of her mind to something, controlling this attack.
The sound of glass shattering, gun fire going off, explosions and shouts of anger filled her thoughts.
As she desperately tried to look past of all that and focus on the present.
Feeling the weight of the world take over as she spun in the darkness on the ground.
When she finally did come too from blacking out, she could see a white light glowing immensely around the being standing over her.
There was an aura glowing over the figure who kept saying who he was.
Capturing the name, 'Wade'.
Recalling something of the name as the rest of the memory became locked up somewhere once more in the back of her mind.
Only the name floated in her mind lost in a stream of unknown memories to go through.
"Wade....?"
Turning on her heel quite suddenly.
Seeing the man in red she had seen not too long ago.
Standing in a defensive stance she let the man speak.
Before relaxing her stature somewhat, yet keeping a distant between herself and the man.
Daken?
Who is this Daken he is speaking about?
The man who confronted me earlier?
Who wanted answers?
More and more confusion entered into her mind.
She noticed the man was departing as she spoke up.
"Wait!"
"Who are you....?!"
Only was she unable to speak the words out quick enough.
As a loud high pitched shrilling sound, started to go off in her ears.
Like a dog whistle being set at the maximum.
As the man walked away, she fought to ignore the sensation.
The white noise taking over.
Kayla could barely hear the man's last words as he disappeared from her sight.
She gasped for a breath, dropping to her knees as she focused on ignoring the sound.
Feeling blood dripping down from her nose against her lips.
Feeling her world becoming dark again.
What was going on?
Why was it she couldn't place the pieces of the puzzle together?
