one word: drumline! yay! I am trying out to be a bass in the battery for a drumcore called Impulse. It sounds very fun-except I don't know how to play. Oh, well. I'll just get one of my friends to teach me. =) I'm in PIT for marching band right now, but I have marched flute for three years, so I miss marching. So I'm going to try it again, but I want to compete. The only way I can compete in a "marching band" is to be in a drumcore the summer after I graduate high school. And you can't play flute in drumcore, because it's only brass and percussion. I could always do PIT, but as I said I want to march again. So I will learn to play the easiest things in battery, one of the bass'. You have to have rythm and syncopation down with no hesitation at all, and quads you have to have speed. Bass, all you do is play your part and march and your done. Right? Well, anyway, I am really random and I sooo do not know why I am telling you all this. =) Whatev. I'm in southern Cali and a fire is headed toward my house, so I have to get off so we can get a reverse phone call if they are doing that yet...see around Gaia sometime!
