She lay there mosionless on her bed, looking up at the cracked roof she once feared would fall apon her when she was a child. But she was not a child anymore. She now knew that the world was not what she once believed. The world was crule and evil in Cloe's eyes. She hated it. She hated every tree, every building every person in it. She wished that everything were different. She wished that she was never told about the acsident. About her parents and what would have been her baby sister.
A tear rolled down her cheek.
The door then slowly creeked open.
"Gather your things, we shall be leaving soon."
Cloe dispised that voice, her new... 'Mother', Diane.
The door then closed.
Cloe wiped a few tears from her eyes and threw some clothes into a lugage bag.
She got up off the old bed, and walked towards the door with her bag.
She made her way down the stairs trying hard not to cry.
She opened the front door to see her new 'Parents' sitting in the front of their maroon coloured car.
As she turned to close the door, she took a look at the place she grew up in.
Another tear rolled down her cheek, thinking of her parents, and their home they once shared together.
Cloe closed the door slowly and turned to walk to the car. She threw her bag into the trunk of the car, and slamed it closed.
She climbed into the back seat, and didnt bother to close the door, she wanted to see someone do something for her.
Finally the door closed.
Cloe felt the silence and sat and wondered, what would become of her life.
