I'm beginning to lose focus,
I'm almost out of touch.
How can I keep from being lonely,
When I've lost so much?
Things that used to be so clear,
Are suddenly blurry to me.
How can I make the right decision,
When it's so hard to see?
I always feel so tired,
Because I'm struggling to keep in step.
Isn't it odd how easily,
Decisions turn into regret?
I'd love to take back,
All the wrong things I've said.
Maybe then they wouldn't play,
Endlessly in my head.
And if I suddenly break,
Like broken crystal shimmering in the light.
I'll piece myself together,
This time into something right.
