Her silver hair swayed as she peered over the ridge of the darkness, fear glinting in the girls azure eyes. This was not the first time she had been lured to the edge of the abyss. At first, she had blamed the haunting melody on the wind, but now...... yet again, the thin, tinny tune reached her white furred ears, and she swayed, eyes going dim as the hypnotic tune caught her range of thought again. Slowly, she took one step, then another, unable to keep herself from seeing whatever, whomever, was emmitting the sweet song. As she neared the edge of the abyss, she paused, her mind struggling to regain control over her body- this was not the way she was going to go. But the exotic melody was relentless, and she found herself yearning to take the last few steps. Just one more.......... she thoguht to herself........
