Hey kids!
Your Friendly Neighbourhood, but still unregistered,
Spider-Man here!
By now, all of ya will know my story.
Unknown regular kid, bitten by a radioactive spider.
Amazing, right? I wouldn't recommend going around radiation to try it yourself though.
But right, Spidey, back on point.
I use my power for myself at first. But something happens. And I learn a lesson.
With great power comes great responsibility.
I use that.
Become what I am now.
Like to think I do my bit, ya know? Saving people, stopping the bad guys.
Can't always get it right, but I'm only one Spider-Guy!
What happened in that "Civil War" is behind me now.
Might be easier to be registered.
But it wouldn't work out too well.
Besides, the guys that come after me are great joke fodder.
You should see their outfits!
...I totally have room to talk.
So what's been going on lately I hear you ask?
Oh boy.
Well first, there were Skrulls. We beat those guys.
Except ol' Normie got in the last shot and became hero of American for a while.
But as expected he eventually snapped and messed the whole deal up.
But in the end, he destroyed Asgard and took lives with it.
Typical, huh? He's locked up now but I expect him back in a mask any time soon.
But not everything turned out bad.
Steve Rogers is back now.
Our first Cap. Not that the other one is doing a bad job!
But Steve's our top cop now. He's leading us into a new age.
I gotta be honest, I'm not sure how it's going to go.
Been at this too long not to believe something will come and wreck it all.
But like it or not, I'm an Avenger. I'm a superhero. Responsibility is mine.
And like it or not, this is the start of a Heroic Age.
