]Fei to those who knew me in the past. I am not the same person I used to be.

Weaker in some aspects, but stronger still in others, and growing more tenacious by the second.

A split second of fear or weakness will overcome thy limbs in an instant. Yet vigilance keeps me from going under. I've surfaced many times, and now I've retained some buoyancy to remain above the current.

Funny how at one point I considered myself a 'dragon incarnated in the wind', hence the name Windra. Foolish. A child's greatest dream. But the familiar twist of irony has grown with me, and thus my title keeps true.

The pessimist complains about the wind.

The optimist expects it to change.

The realist adjusts the sails.

Respect and acknowledge me and I will converge upon you with love and warmth. Anger or betray me and I'll blow you off course.

I am the tempest.



Wow-ee, one upon a time I was a phenomenal writer. What in the hell happened?

I guess I grew up ... or became more involved in the outer world. My life has become a raft caught upon swift waters. I'm constantly on the move. I also haven't been active for several years. Consider this ... a new beginning. A refresher course.

So what's going on with me now?

Well, I'm a volunteer firefighter. I have joined Staley Fire in North Carolina and am currently undergoing my probationary period, which will end in two months. As of January 12th, I will be attending Firefighter I/II Academy, and am looking forward to pursuing a full-time career as a firewoman.

After four years of a strained relationship, my fiance broke it off ... only to return to each other one year later, renewed and freshly in love. We are engaged again, and things are running smoothly.
