Umm. My name's Hera. Pronounced [hair-uh]. For some reason, most people seem to freak out when they see my name and worry that they'll say it wrong. My name isn't some long strand of Arabic, it's a simple two-syllable word that sounds exactly as it appears. Okay.

I'm 17. I know. Reallyyy old, right? Most people on Gaia are, what, 12? Well I've been on here since '06 and Gaia has changed a lot. Can't say I particularly like all of the changes, but whatever.

I'm taken by a sweet, sexy, wonderful guy named Kenny. He's my sweetie sugar pumpkin pie, and I love him more than anything heart

My favorite kinds of music are usually Classical and New Age. I also like classic Disney tunes from the movies-- like Mulan and Tarzan, especially-- and I love almost all genres of music. Personally, I don't think music should be labeled and I don't focus on the labels, really. I focus on the individual song, and if I like it, I like it. If I don't, I don't. But, I have to say that I usually do not like country or rap. Those are basically the two genres of music people either love or hate. I've flitted around several profiles on Gaia, and those two genres are the ones that people seem to single out more than any other...

I have an iPod mini. Yeah, that old clunky thing with a monochrome screen. It's archaic. It ain't like all the fancy crap they have now, like video iPods with color screens and thinner and lighter bodies. My iPod is starting to fall apart and I probably should get a new one soon, but of course I'm attached to the poor thing. It's my conjoined twin. My best friend. It's gotten me through dying of boredom at summer school and drowning out the annoying people around me. I can't just get rid of it and replace it with some fancy-shmancy new one. I just can't.

Okay, so maybe this wasn't as brief as I promised it would be. I'm a writer. What can I say. I write a lot. But in real life, I'm really quiet and don't talk nearly as much as I write. I'm half Asian/half Caucasian. I love chocolate milk, Hello Kitty, origami, rice, and lots of stuff. I think Twilight is a horribly over-rated piece of s**t for literature, and the color pink is not as evil as some people think. I love Gothic style and Cute style. I think the two can blend seamlessly :3

Thank you for all the lovely profiles you ... I played around the the CSS and made my own version. I know it's not nice to do that, but I don't really know how to make my own, and it's a little daunting, but I spent a few hours figuring out the basics. Check it out if you want.
