*walks into Roy's office and glances at his shoulder cape thing* Oi..what's with the frilly bit there Colonel? *Pointing at the thing on his shoulders*
He rolled his eyes at that. Ever petulant. He managed to stuff a few of them in folders with a bit of difficulty. Hey, you try doing it with a giant metal arm and not crushing delicate items like paper. Automail was not that easily dealt with. And then Roy was standing. What the hell? If he wasn't going to do any work why should Edward? He turned to lean on the cabinet with an exasperated frown. "We have no leads..Nothing at all." He emphasized with annoyance.
Of course Al didn't actually get physically tired, that much was obviously a lie. Ed just didn't feel like explaining further. He gave Roy a flat stare at the mention of being put to work, that only grew more incredulous as he pointed at the stack of it. "How the hell am I supposed to know what to put on these things? Taisa, isn't this your work?" Petulant as always, but eventually he caved and sank behind a desk to stare at the paperwork with the very same expression Roy had on his face moments ago. His eyebrow twitched as he reached for a pen with his good hand. Most of them would just end up with pictures drawn on them. "We've been trying to find the Philosopher's stone. But maybe it is just a myth.." He stopped drawing for a moment to scowl at the papers like it was their fault they were chasing a golden egg.
The blond sighed some. "Al got tired of moving around. So it looks like I'm here for a while." Not telling the entire truth, Edward looked over at the paperwork and leaned on some of it. "Didn't I leave you this way?" Anyone who knew him knew he didn't handle paperwork well. The kid was a genius with Alchemy, but patience was another subject entirely.
