A shadow in the mist, an odd noise in the silence, the movement that you see out of the corner of your eye. You get goose bumps, something is lurking just beyond your senses and no matter how hard you strain, it seems to be just out of reach. Something is behind you. You turn quickly to catch it. only to see that it is your own shadow. But wait! What… is… that…, just in the darkness beyond. Hiding in the bushes. you saw light reflect off of something shiny, like a pair of eyes. Against you better judgment you move closer, as you bend to part the bushes for a better view you hear a low growl and realize your mistake. You should have ignored the shadow. Closed your ears to the odd noises and kept you back turned to the movement you had seen. Because now you know what’s going to eat you.
