I am Sarai, one of the few left of a dying race. I am a light angel.I was raised as a human my whole life. My parents found me as a baby living in an orphanage outside of San Francisco, and they always tell me that somehow they knew I was the one they were supposed to choose, like it was pre-determined. My powers started showing up at a young age, especially when I was angry or upset. It started small, when I cried or wanted something, I got it, I could make inanimate objects I didnt like disappear. As I grew, so did my powers. I learned to use them inconspicuously, to help a friend, or to a heal a cut or scrape. When I was twelve a woman came to me and told me not to use my powers for physical things, only for soothing injuries of the heart, or saving somebody from grief. But she wouldnt tell me who or what I was. Finally when I was fourteen, I decided to find out my past and why I was chosen to have these gifts. I had to find that woman, I searched for years, I left home at sixteen and tried harder. Finally I found her and got her to tell me who she was, who I was, and why I was here. My quest complete, I went home and used my powers even more inconspicuously then ever. I am now eighteen years old and I have been asked to make a decision, live as a human, and possibly die with my family and the peole I love, or take a longer, much lonlier path. A path that would carry me through the years until tehe end of time, helping and healing people day after day. It took me a long time, but that is the path that I chose. That is the path I will follow, and I will not be stopped.
