It's a long story.
That's cutting it short.

Something the world, not just mutants, needed.
But then, another calling found me.
The birth of the true saviour of our kind.
Of course with that, people wanted her dead.
Some misguided, some in knowledge, some just plain insane.
But I saved her. I had to and I did.
I've taken her into the future. There are those that will hunt me, I'm ready for that.
I've practically lived a life here with her.
Loved and lost too.
But things just keep going wrong.

He has his own, misguided agenda.
Believing her to destroy us instead of save us.
I say it's worth the chance.
And I'll carry on keeping her safe, whatever the cost.
Now there are... complications.
My father, Cyclops, didn't want to take the chance of me doing this alone.
He sent a team after me.
X-Force. Heh.
They were sent into a trap.
Stryfe and Apocalypse. It wasn't pretty.
I'm still trying to protect Hope but time is running out.
