Yo! My name is Renji Abarai and I'm lieutenant of squad six. I be your wondering about these tattoos of mine. Well with every achievement I attain, the number of tattoos on my body increase as well, starting from my early days as a Soul Reaper candidate until when I became Byakuya Kuchiki's lieutenant. These tattoos match those of Zabimaru in his manifested state. I dress in the standard Soul Reaper outfit, though I usually include some sort of elaborate headgear (usually expensive-looking glasses or a white headband). All of my sunglasses are from Seireitei's popular "Silver Dragonfly Glasses Store" and cost half a year's worth of my paycheck. They're totally worth it though! Unfortunately, every time I wear a pair, they get broken one way or another, usually in a fight with Ichigo. I gotta remember to take them off before our next fight.According to people I'm about as eccentric as any other Soul Reaper. I vary from smug and cocky at first glance to downright angsty and depressed after my major defeats, but I show myself to be an incredibly serious and determined fighter when confronted with an actual challenge. Willing to fight, kill, and die for whatever I believe in, I'm a dangerous man to those who stand in my way. Apparently I'm similar to Ichigo Kurosaki in many aspects, and we're mistaken for brothers at one point. Ichigo claims we are cousins to keep things simple, allowing many hilarious situations to occur later, including comments over our unusually colored hair. For some reason my stupid nick name, red pineapple, referring to my crimson hair kept in a pineapple top-like ponytail, just won't die. I do wear a shirt with 'Red Pineapple' printed on the front, Ichigo bought it for me as a joke. I know he did.
Before those rumors about me and Rukia go any farther, she is nothing more than a sister to me. I am happily, extremely, married to Izumi Urahara. We've been married for four years and I wouldn't change a thing. We have a beautiful three year old daughter named Megumi and she is my pride and joy. I will kill anyone who tries to lay a hand on them. I'm serious. Zabimaru will be at your neck if you hurt them.
