I am Xion Azriel Azai and was born in Mikawa, Feudal Japan and was raised to live by the sword. I am also the adopted child of Nagamasa, as well as a half breed demon. It was in these two crippling factors that I was treated less than royalty, only able to prove my use when in combat. I've fought in countless wars, often sharing a rival friendship with Sain Lamperouge Cooper. Symbolic seeds that root Me and Sain's childhood leaves the us in often wound stricken yet playful battles. Once the wars had ended Me and Sain went our separate ways respectively. By myself I moved around the world, trained by the most skillful warriors Earth could offer.
One ominous day I found himself awake and aboard one of the most infamous pirate ships known to the universe. Left was in critical condition when they found me on an abandoned frigate and nursed me back to health. Seventeen with no where to go I joined them in their pursuit of endless riches. On an unknown raid of the ship Great Fox, me and Sain reunited under unfortunate circumstances. More or less I found myself with blade and blaster drawn with four blasters aimed at fatal points of my body. Upon thee reunion I met the Starfox team, yet continued to stick with Silent Raccoon. The previous owner died just before handing over the ship under my command. I currently own Silent Raccoon and her team of highly skilled pirates.
I suppose you’d ask yourself that a man with such an adventurous life would have some stories to share?
I’ve always been a unique mystery and many in feudal Japan sought me as a tool of power. As you could imagine I was not one for becoming another’s object but after a trip to a nearby village I found myself deftly attached to my step father’s resolve. It was in that village that I found so much injustice, so much cruelty and prejudice that I vowed with these hands of mine would change the world. I’d create a bloody path just to guide the innocent into serenity. It was in this that I found myself meeting an odd assortment of people. Oda Nobunago is a man I will never forget. The mere gaze of his eyes could send chills down the bravest of men’s spine. I must admit that he did frighten me at first glance but his most powerful asset lay on his right. This was none other than Sain Lamperouge Cooper. He like me was not as everyone else brought a great comfort. The day that Nagamasa withdrew from the Oda’s command was the day that me and Sain committed to not let the war change our relationship. Even on the battlefield we harbored no ill towards one another. As mighty as we were we fell with our comrades and the Azai were reduced to history. After the war I became nomadic, never staying in one place for too long.
Some strange occurrence had occurred where I found myself on a frigate in the confines of space. Confused and disorientated I let my instincts carry myself to search the ship for any living beings that could help me return home. What I found instead was nothing pleasant. Creatures with eyes a soulless white and fangs and teeth sharper than anyone had ever known. Thanks to my teachings in the art of magic I was able to fend them off but it seems that they were being bred on the ship. Everyday I fought for my life, killing at least hundreds of the creatures. Just on the brink of death the frigate I was on was boarded. The people who had found me were a crew of pirates searching for any valuables. In the kindness of their hearts they took me in and trained me in the use of a blaster as well as a machine that far outdated my time. It was called a Next and was used as a tool of war. The captain of the ship could spot my interest from a mile away and volunteered to teach me how to pilot. With his constant reminding I picked up the skills fairly fast and had a Next built personally for myself. They called it a coming home gift and let me enter their small little family. Although they were pirates they were fairly hospitable and stated that they never killed innocence and caused harm to others only when necessary. On that ship I became acquainted with many and made great friends with most.
Not all things go according to plan and when they don’t, they sure leave hell of a mess to clean up. On a mission into the Skillian Traverse we ran across beings unlike any other. They were synthetics but were actual functioning A.I. My captain had never ran across anything like them and when they ambushed us during a distress call that promised to hold goods. I fought as hard as I could to protect the captain but at last he rigged the place to explode, leaving only him able to detonate it. Even with all of my magic I couldn’t have stopped him. It was the look in his eyes that told me he was determined to protect all those on the ship. Right before the last time I saw him he gave me command of Silent Raccoon. Humbly I was honored and when I took to power not many had much against it. I ran the ship how he would have wanted, and will continue to until my last breath.
