A girl in my grade is filipino, I think she moved here from there when she was really young. I'm not sure though.

True, very true. There's a joke another friend of mine said once that made me laugh (although I do laugh at some Asian jokes). It goes- "It's terrible being Asian! If your a girl, you're hot, but if you're a guy, then you're tech support!"

I have to admit, the first part is mostly true.

Right on! We're Asian through and through. As a friend of mine says, if it eats rice breakfast, lunch and dinner and it can kick my a** in one hit then it's Asian. He's not exactly the shapest blade in the knife rack, but he's my friend.
