Life
Life is like an awkward sky
with colors filled with gold
shining brightly everyday
for each man to behold
the sun sheds light on everything
from seas to forest green
it brings life and love to color
in everything that's seen
in life somes things happen
and beauty seems to fade
we look at life through different light
and soon we are afraid
there are underlying dangers
this, every man should know
wherever there is light
there will always be a shadow
the sun will rise, and then will set
and the warmth and light will wane
the night consumes our sky and life
it drives some folks insane
as you read these lines of poetry
there is a lesson to be learned
as good and bad, or light and dark
Everything in life gets turned
"Don't judge me until you know me, don't fight me until you've kissed me, and don't love me until you've hated me."
These are the words of my soul, my thoghts, my feelings, they are my everything. And will always expect the worst in every way.
As you may have heard, I am bisexual, this is not a lie, it is the mear truth. Because of this, you may shun me, hate me, push me away for the felings I can not control. We all have these problems, not knowing what to do in this world, not knowing where to go. No one accepting you for you.
Life, you think you know it, you believe you've lived it, but have you cherished it? Or have you drowned yourself in missery and hopeless dreams? Do you believe that "life" is your reason, or do believe Death? These are simple questions, questions you should ask yourself everyday, for your purpose will be tested to limits beyond your standards. Litsen to yourself and believe what you believe, not what your parents or your spouse, or your friends that you spend everyday with. Believe in your heart to accept yourself.
Have you ever felt like crap because of what you thought someone else you loved thought or felt? Have you ever loved someone, and knew you could never be with them, for they did not feel the same for you, no matter what you did? These are the questions I ask, for this is how I feel. Feeling like you can never be accepted, that no one cares. Knowing that you love someon of the same gender, knowing that they don't feel the same, but you love them with all your heart anyway.
I break inside. Starting from the heart and slowly making its way through my body until I have nothing left, nothing to hold on to, nothing to touch, nothing to feel...
