With amber eyes, I watch. Over my pack, my family. Strong together as we hunt for survival. With angry eyes I see. Fences across land, men with guns, and a thrill. I only kill to survive. With sad eyes I look. At sharp traps, the soft furs of my friends. They didn't run to survive. So I ask, why did I survive?

I've been worshiped, and I've been feared, I've been pushed from state to state thru the years. But now they know me, now they understand, the fragile balance between nature and man. I am the call of the wild, with a spirit strong and true, and each and every child should have the chance to listen to the call of the wild. Brother to brother, father to son, have told the stories of me, the nobile one. I am as proud as an eagle, and free as the wind, and you can hear me, if you just listen.
