Hello and welcome to my profile. I am a freshman in high school. (I am a girl in real-life). Hobbies I particularly enjoy most doing is playing my flute and reading historical fiction. I also like drawing and sketching, just manga/anime stuff. My music tastes are both Neo-Classical and older works of Classical (Mozart, Beethoven...Yeah) and symphonic metal, but I also listen to a lot of progressive and alternative. Any form of classical I would listen to. Mostly "Neo" and Intermezzo. J-rock is my interest, too. ^^ My most favorite bands are Muse, Hawk Nelson, Hyde, & Gackt.
I love dramas, anime & manga, too, especially ones that are based on orchestra or anything related to music. La Corda D'oro is my MOST favorite but Nodame Cantabile is also really good, especially the music and soundtrack. For genre, I prefer Shoujo, but i like Shounen, too. But who really cares about genre? Only thing I care about is pretty much storyline. =)
Me as a musician is the greatest & most unique thing about me. In other words, Music is a big part of my life. I did band in Middle school because I had nothing better to do...But now it changed my life in a VERY good way. =D I love flute and music, and learning all those many things about it. I plan to Oboe or the English Horn. I know some Music Theory, but not that much, as I am teaching myself theory currently. I am planning to form my own Wind Quartet, made up of Flute, Oboe, Bassoon & Clarinet to play at the N.C. Solo & Ensemble Festival.
Sometimes, yes, I can be a little moody and emotional sometimes, but not bipolar. But when I'm in a good mood, I know how to have a good time and have fun, like just joking around or talking to my friends. People may see me as a sad person. But that is my facade. I can be a happy, optimistic person, suffering and tolerating the wrongs delt to me while fighting negative thoughts. I used to think Happiness was just a word to me. But now...not anymore. I have to find happiness from all the things I have left in this world.
I am a fast learner. I don't want to be told instructions, unless it's a task I have no idea to do. I like figuring things out by myself. Yeah, I guess I'm a pretty independent person. I'm not that smart as most people think I am...But I get extremely good grades.
