About Me

Hello there, my name is Yarkaz. I won't tell you my real name (though I will admit to a clue in my username) and I wont tell you my age, preferring instead to keep you guessing with that handy picture I've plastered across the page. Neither will I tell you where I live, where I sleep (the two are, on many occasions, different), or what I do in my spare time. You'll have to get to know me for that.
There are a few things I'm willing to tell you, as this is the purpose of a Gaia profile. My favorite colors are blue and gold, sometimes the gold changes to white. That depends on my mood. I like chocolate, puppies, long walks on the beach, and romantic- Ahhh, screw it. I'm not gonna pull that. Gaia isn't a dating service, and I'm not looking for anything like that anyway..
I am an artist. I roll with a Wacom Bamboo tablet and Adobe Photoshop 6.0, who both teamed up with my camera to give you the lovely (or perhaps horrendous, you decide) face you're currently looking at. I don't usually post my art on Gaia, and I don't have a DeviantArt account or anything of that sort. I consider my art something special. Not better than anyone else's, but a precious form of expression to be used sparingly and lovingly. I draw a lot for friends and family, and I won't do any avatar art for you unless you are in either of those categories. So yeah, just thought I'd throw that out before you asked.
I am a gamer. I play a lot of video games, and I enjoy them very much. I'll pretty much do anything from RPGs to FPSs to RTSs. Despite my decision not to tell much about what I do, I will say that I spend a lot of my free time playing DotA or Halo with my friends over LAN. I'm not a fan of online play unless I'm playing an MMORPG though.
One last thing: I'm an antisocial Gaian. If you were linked to my profile via a forum thread, then you have experienced a very rare phenomenon known an "Yarkaz actually doing something." Most of my time is spent in Guilds or PMs. If I AM in the forums, it will be in the Video Game forum or the GD. See you around!
