Rufus Shinra, once Vice-President of the Shin-Ra Electric Power Company and leader of the Turks, now President after his father's death at Sephiroth's hands.
Once upon a time this man wished to rule the world through fear rather than money (as his father had done in the past). He abandoned his father's project of researching the Cetra named Aerith Gainsborough and her connection to mako energy and the Lifestream. He sought to find the Promise Land (a place supposedly abundant with mako energy) and to dispose of Sephiroth. He once attempted to use Avalanche to his benefit, but when that failed he sought to take them out as well.
These plans fail when he is hit by Diamond Weapon in his office towers. Thought to be dead, he is later recovered from the wreckage, and upon awakening he discovers that he is among those who have contracted Geostigma. It is this near-death experience and this new life-threatening disease that persuade him to change the direction of his company. He seeks to rebuild and to pay his debt to the planet he once assisted in harming.
Even after Rufus is cured of Geostigma, he continues to follow through with rebuilding ShinRa and paying his debt.
However his change in ambitions, Rufus Shinra still holds much of the same personality as before. Still cold, distant, and arrogant with a sarcastic sort of sense of humor. Few people are able to get the ridged man to relax.
His weapon of choice is a cut off double barrel shotgun he wields with one hand.

Rufus is a man who doesn't trust or make friends easily. If you wish for a friends request, you must at least speak to him first. If he likes you, he will accept.
Please note that Rufus is by no means obligated to be nice to you. He'll be nice if he feels like it. And he usually doesn't feel like being nice to people who aren't his friends.

It looks as if though these 'Heartless',Really have been censored t the extreme.
When in through they stab their hands ever so gently into the victim's body,ripping off their hearts.
Then,it isn't long until the B.O.W (Bio Organic Weapon),Feasts on the heart,Mutating even more into a grotesque beast.
But,alas,Disney censors it all to make people believe it's some kind of rainbow fun land with Disney character's jumping around with all the Anime bullshit.
They collect Organs!?
Look's like I'll have to either give my organs to Minxy or Kaz Hirai before they do for that PS3! DX
