You are standing on board a medium-sized airship, the S.S. Gearwurkt, sailing across an inky sky. Its luminous air-sails flap above you, running on the solar power collected throughout the day. You step across the deck, looking around, when the entire ship lurches forward. You lose your balance, tumbling over yourself, and collide with a dark wooden door and into a small, crammed office. Looking up at the towers of books, parchment, and odd-looking mechanical instruments, you catch the attention of an albino girl behind a large oak desk. For a moment, the two of you stare at each other in bewildered silence. Then, out of the blue, she one-handedly leaps over her desk and crouches before you, smiling.
"'Allo, mate!" she says, with an alert Cockney accent. "Kind of you to drop by! M'name's December, but you can call me Em." She pulls you to your feet and raises her arms, spinning in a small circle.
"...and this..." she says. "...is my Chronosphere!"
