Two? She thought to herself. She looked over and saw Eria approaching the man as well. She was awfully confused as to what what going on now.
Katara never intended to make it seem like she was spying or stalking the man--because it sounded like that was what he thought she was doing, with his previous comment--but she shrugged and continued walking below as commanded.
Katara was stunned, staring at the place where the man previously stood before suddenly disappearing in a way she had never seen before in her entire life until now.
Later, she crept past her friends at midnight, careful not to wake up anyone, especially Aang since he was such a light sleeper. She double checked to make sure everyone was still sleeping before silently going out the door and shutting it behind her. The waterbending master rushed to the river, and there she met the man at the shore. She paused and took a deep breath before approaching him.
