I love the generic ones that come in the giant zipper bags (which are made in Minneapolis and that I get at Wal-Mart, btw). they're so cheap and their gimmicks/selling points are more cute (Coco Roos, anyone?).
I get fed up with fighting the ignorant ones and just try to avoid the negativity and then someone dies. Oy.

My favorite right now is Frosted Flakes.
I'm sure most have thought it through, except for those really dumb and ignorant ones - and you can''t change them. I figure there are bigger ethical issues that should be questioned than what stores people shop at (and trust me, those have been swarming my mind for quite a while now).

We get some food stuffs from Costco and we go through milk pretty quick, but if I was on my own, I'd probably never buy food there. Whatever works.

I get there the same exact time everyday (druing the school year). Some days, I can get a spot right nest to the teachers' cars, and other days I have to park all the way at the other end near the gym. It's weird.
I've never seen a food4less around here, so idk. I'm not sure about Costco, but I figure they have to have SOME mass, foreign labor produced items. It's unavoidable. I haven't been in one in a while, though. Costco scares me because everything's so BIG there and I don't see the need to buy items in bulk. But, w/e, I get most of my crap from thrift stores. I hate it when stores are constantly moving stuff around. And it's not like they actually need to.

It's funny because last year, all the sophomores got their licenses as soon as they turned 16. The parking lots would be packed in the morning. Of course, since they don't know how to drive, they would leave half a car's space between each car, so that didn't help.
Eh. Most stores use cheap labor, sad but true. If you're able to find a store that carries decently priced, American made products, then good for you, but it's usually not that easy. If you want to do your part to save the world, then good for you, but don't be so smug about it. That said, I never usually buy anything from there, except for candy.
Winco's just another chain of stores. I think they have some in northern California.
