General Information:

This event will be taking place from January 13th until January 23rd, at undetermined times (at the moment). It'll start pretty much whenever Aylee wakes up on the 13th, and the ending time will be determined after she gets her schedule for that week.

So what ARE the Sin'aeis? They're a breed of human-like beings from another dimension who have been... well, forced to live in ours, so to say. Chaco, their prince and breeder is reviving his people one by one by binding their souls to food. For more information, read the main thread.

This event is being held because, well, some of the old owners seem to have dropped off the face of the planet. Or just decided they didn't have the time or will to RP their child anymore and gave them back to the shop. It happens, sometimes, and sad though it may be, we want to find these children new homes.

And yes, this is an RP-heavy shop. Don't be afraid, though, we're not terribly strict about it. One post every couple weeks is usually all we ask, although keep in mind their growth is directly related to activity.

Speaking of growths, here's a heads up: Almost all of the children in this event will be growing once they are rehomed. <3 So don't worry about having to RP a baby! They'll be a toddler soon enough. And we all know everyone is sick of babies! (Though, if for some strange reason you DON'T want your new, tiny bag of flesh to grow right away, just tell us and we'll put his/her growth off!)

Entry Information:

By this time many of you have probably taken a look at the entry form, and noticed something on the form called 'free prompt'. You're probably asking what that means. A free prompt isn't really a prompt at all, but a journal entry into the child's journal, so to speak. The reason we're doing this is to see how easy you find it to come up with original ideas for the child on your own.

Of course, you also have to answer a normal prompt as well, and we've come up with three of them for you to choose from.

Please note that ALL entries must be PMed to the Amakusa_Shu mule, and not posted in the thread. Additionally, only put one entry per PM, with the name of the Sin'aeis being entered for in the PM title.

Rules
1) Play nice! Don't argue with your fellow participants, unless you're like... play fighting. That's okay. Wotcher's good at that.
2) No complaining if you don't win. No, seriously. No one wants to listen to you.
3) Don't steal the art. Kthx.
4) Although Aylee is technically the owner, Chibi and Noya are staff too, and you have to listen to them. Unless Aylee overrules them, which will probably never happen.
5) Objection fights are awesome, so there.
6) Do NOT post your entries in the thread. PM them to Amakusa_Shu, with each entry in its own PM. (In other words, if you're entering for two different Sin, the entries must be separately PMed)
7) You may NOT use a scripted prompt as your free prompt, regardless of whether you were thinking of it before the prompts were posted. Make it your scripted prompt instead, and come up with a new free-prompt. Sorry.
8) If, for whatever reason we ask you to resend your PM, you may NOT edit your entries.
9) We are under NO OBLIGATION to rehome the children in this event, if we don't like the entries we receive for them.
10) We can add rules if we deem them necessary.

Q: Yay event! How much does it cost?
A: Nothing! This event is absolutely free. x3

Q: Can I enter for more than one then?
A: Yup. <3 You can enter for as many as you like.

Q: So, we can enter for more than one Sin. Can we WIN more than one? 8D
A: No, sorry. XD One per person.

Q: So, what if we enter for Sin F and Sin M, but we only entered for F as a failsafe, since we like M better. Should we mention which is our first choice?
A: If you intend to enter for more than one Sin, write your preference in each PM. Like, in PM #1: First choice!, in PM #2: Third choice!, in PM #3: Second choice! Just don't make it hard to find.

Q: If we're entering for a baby, but intend to change his/her name, should we mention this in the PM?
Yes, please! On the Sin's Name line. <333

Q: Can people who already own a Sin'aeis enter?
A: Yup, so long as we've seen them around the thread in recent memory.

Q: I like this baby, but they have a personality I don't like. Can I change it?
A: That's debatable. We would rather you keep the personalities mostly intact, but you may make small changes so long as the original personality is mostly there. But besides, it's not like RP doesn't change personality anyway.

Q: But what if I accidentally write my entry in Spanish?
A: THEN I'LL SMACK YOU AND MAKE YOU RE-WRITE IT. D<

Bullies. You've seen them at school, taking other kid's lunch money and just generally harassing those who won't stand up to them. So far, you've managed to stay out of their way, but this time one of the bullies has targeted your friend. Describe what you do to handle this situation, or if you choose not to handle it at all.

Curiousity has always been your forte, and your guardian is running out of ways to keep you amused. S/he has tried music, games, puzzles, books, and even video games, but all you seem to do is keep taking them apart. Your guardian needs to take you out to a toy store, in which you need to pick out four items that you think will keep you amused, and then decide which of these is your favourite.

Prompt Four

In the Gaian world, the majority of children are adopted and raised by guardians rather than their own parents. All of the Sin'aeis are the same, and you know they live with their guardians. The problem is, however, you're different. For some reason your original protector couldn't keep you, and you had to be rehomed. How does this make you feel when you find out? (In the case of those old enough to know, how does this make you feel now?)
