An Eye For Royalty~ Side Story

Alexander felt at odds with the world now; his entire past seemed like a lie and he doubted anything else could be the truth. Dakrim felt like the foundations of lies, no longer his home or place of freedom since Alexander was unsure if he was even a slave or not to begin with. Alexander felt everyone he thought were his friends were just lies built to look like people; this whole world seemed void of any truth or justice. Alexander needed to find his father or at least seek out why his past didn't match up to what the other two Tou had said; Alexander needed to return to the Tou Kingdom. Abandoning his duties to Lady Henna was the last thing Alexander wanted to do, but he hadn't seen her in a long time and assumed the worse from the battle and with his freedom, Alexander wanted to visit his homeland, so he began to make preparations for departure with the two Tou from before.

Alexander packed food, clothes, and other necessities rather quickly since he was quite restless to begin his journey to the Tou Kingdom with the Tou that had helped him escape battle before. It was revealed later on that the girl Tou was Sylvan and the boy Tou was Grog and how both of them were mercenaries for the Elder Council that were hired to record the death of the King, but that mission's objectives were destroyed upon the misunderstandings between the Dakrim Kingdom and the Tou Mercenaries upon the night of the Ball. Now Alexander planned to travel with them in hopes to clear his mind in his people's Kingdom then return home to Dakrim after things were set straight. In reality, Alexander wanted to escape the mundane people he thought were his friends since Alexander had made friends with high ranking individuals; he always felt so low when trying to speak to them. Grant was the Captain of the Knights and his whole method of things made Alexander angry. Dainne was a Prince from another Kingdom, just that alone made Alexander feel lowly. All this time Alexander could have been royalty himself as an Elder for the Council, but something denied him of that and he wanted to know exactly what it was.

Alexander stood in the courtyard side by side with Grog to his right and Sylvan to his left, all three looking at the gate in front of them with packs at the backs and wind in their hair; about as much wind as the castle walls would allow. Alexander wanted to say good-bye to a few people, but decided it best to test his friendship status with the people he knew instead; testing to see if they would even notice he was gone. No one would care if a servant left and Henna didn't seem to be around anymore, so Alexander thought it was best; maybe upon returning he could acquire representation from the Elder Council and be a Representative for the Tou Kingdom in Dakrim. This mission had importance to it; if Alexander was influential enough, he could create a potential alliance between Dakrim and the Tou Kingdom, though such a task seemed impossible; Tou never allied themselves with Dirt Bloods.

Jewlet stood on the castle grounds watching the sky. She had a job to do but it would not start until tomorrow. A light sigh escaped from her mouth and she got to her feet. 'I'll go see mother.' She then headed for the exit of the castle. Making her way down to the city, she greeted people as she passed them. "Good day." She smiled a believable smile and went one. The city was busy as all ways as she reached the streets.

Valrie was giving a show in the middle of the city as her mother watched. She was dressed much like a belly dancer, but she used a skirt instead. The outfit was a light purple with bronze colored trim. Beads hang to make nose and to draw attention to her. She moved quick, but gracefully. The was she danced was seductive and teaseful making it really hard to take the eyes off. Her facial expressions kept up with the way she moved matching the feeling she was showing.
As the music changed pace so did she. It seemed as if she had practice it forever, but really this was her first time dancing to this music. All dancer need to be able to do this or they wouldn't really be able to impress the crowds that watch them so closely.

A smile of relief spread across the youngest Prince's face as he exited the barn, his hair tied up in a short pony tail and his royal garments replaced by peasant garb. Cyrith turned around to face the open doorways, "Are you two comin' or what?"

"Cyrith, this is ridiculous! Can we not simply return home?" Ric called out, feeling unclean from the strange garments his brother had given him and Zireno. For some reason he had wanted to take them out on the town, and well, even without his powers, Cyrith was fairly good at convincing people to do as he pleased.

"No way, you'll have fun, I swear!" the youngest prince called back, smirking at his brother's awkwardness.

Valrie's moves came to an quick stop as the music ended. Her final pose was her on her left knee, her right leg stretched as far as it could, both hands on the ground, and her head faced down. She was smiling as the crowd clapped. She then took to her feet and did a bow. "Thank you very much. I will be back soon." Now she would have a brake before her next show.
Valrie's mother came up to her and smiled bright and urged her on to there home for a rest. "Oh, mother, that was so much fun! I can't believe I did that with out you." She said amazed with herself. "Mother? Should I wear the pink next or the blue?" Her mother put her left hand in the air showing she chose the pink. "Alright. Thank you."
