Far into the future, the year is no longer known, New Year's day is now dreaded were it was once celebrated. Earth's sun and many other stars in the universe have burned out and only red dwarf stars remain, and they too dwindle with age. Diffrent races form colonies around the remaining dwarf stars, but they too burn out and the colonies have to travel to find other stars. Diffrent races come together as the universe tries to survive and aliens of all sorts often have few of them remain alive.

Appearance: Midnight Black with red eyes, pointed ears and porcupine-like quills running down back (not that there are porcupines anymore) with claws and fangs and bat-like wings but looks human in other features
Abilities: Agile and able to run up to 60 mph, not much stronger than an average human.
Number left: I am the last creature with Seerik ancestors, but humans are adaptable and are one of the more common races in the cities that traverse the galaxy.

Number left(you dont need to be specific but not everyone can be the last of something): I have no Idea, I was kicked off my planet fourteen years ago. Maybe they died out, maybe they didn't, but I have no idea

Onix stood atop the roof of a tall building with a rectangle shape, probably a human design. He stared down at the hover tracks, a mix of Ketric tech improving human designs to make something similar to old human roads only metal and magnetic to allow 'Compact Automatic Rides' which are best known as CARs. Human tech often mixed with other things to make these things, I heard somewere that the shortend term for the hovering vehicles is based on the earliest versions of human transport.
(This is the first future/space/alien rp I've ever done, am I doing good so far?)

Akinro, son of the mighty Chief Akai, will set out on a quest to become the Chief of his tribe. To become the rightful Chief of the Yoshirii tribe, You must be of the blood of the noble Chiefs that came before you. You must also retrieve a rare stone, the frytstone, from the Caves of Yoshokai. The caves were on the surface of planet Yoshoi, which you may only go to if you are on the quest to become the tribe's new Chief. Due to the harsh deserts and hot sun, many Yoshirii tribesman have not returned from this perilous journey. Will Akinro make this perilous journey? Our story begins...

Onix spread his wings and glided down to the city, some did stare since nothing even looked remotely like a Seerik but there were many creatures of all sorts and noone stared for that long. He landed since his human half wouldn't allow the full flight Seerik are suited for but gliding was still possible. He looked up at the sky, someone once told him the sky of earth was blue when it was around but the sky under a red dwarf was a creepy red.
(Were exactly are you two? Onix is on a small planet near a red dwarf and I cant firgure out were you are, any chance our charactors will meet at some point?)

"Wake up Akinro!" said Akinro's mom, Kinraichi, "You're going to miss the ceremony!" "Zz huh, what?" mutttered Akinro sleepily, "Oh right! I'd almost forgotten!" Akiiro scurries across his room to make sure he has everything he needs on his journey. "Wait!" said Kinraichi, "Take this necklace, for good luck." "Thank you" Akinro said as he put it on, "Try not to worry about me to much." As Akinro went to the ceremonial grounds, he ran into his friend, Hangya. "Hello Akinro" said Hangya,"Are you ready for your journey?" "You bet I am!" said Akinro,"I cant wait to find the Mezustone!" "Aren't you scared?" asked Hangya, "You might never come back" "I am a little scared" said Akinro,"But I cant let fear change my destiny!" "Well then you better hurry, the ceremony starts in a few minutes!" said Hangya. "Oh jeez, I'd almost forgotten!" said Akinro,"If I'm late my dad will kill me! Thanks for the reminder!" Akinro raced to the ceremonial grounds, getting there just as it was beginning. "Ah! Akinro!" said his father, Chief Akai,"We all thought you wouldn't make it to your own ceremony!" "Sorry about that father" said Akinro. "Let us begin" said Chief Akai as they both faced the rest of the tribe,"Today my son will be starting his journey to become chief of the Yoshirii tribe, and it gives me great honor to know that my son has grown to be as great as the chiefs before him!" The tribe cheered for Akinro as he set out. He went with his father to the passage to the surface. "Wait Akinro" said his father,"I want you to know that no matter what happens, you will always be my son." "Thank you father" said Akinro. Akinro went through the long passage thus beginning his long, perilous journey...

I plan on converging Onix's story with Akinro's with a dramatic plot twist, just wait to see what happens.

The alert system went off. Kiira's eyes widened. "Ahh!!" she screamed again. She clicked the buttons rapidly, but failed and crashed on a random planet. "Phew," she said, relieved she didn't die. Kiira opened the door with force. When she got out, she walked around the craft to see the damage. "Shoot!" This could take months to fix.

As Onix glided he saw something streek across the sky, noone on the ground could see it but from his view he saw it crash outside the city. He glided in the direction of the object to check it out. What is that, some kind of ship? He thought to himself. He landed because his human half made him too dense to fly, only glide, but he ran in the direction knowing were it was.

As Akinro emerged from the tunnel, he was temporarily blinded, for he had never seen sunlight before, and needed time for his eyes to adjust. "Ow!' exclaimed Akinro, "I've never seen anything so bright before!" After his eyes adjusted to the sun, he looked around and saw desert for miles, but in the distance, he saw a tall mountain range. "My best bet is in that direction" he said to himself. So he walked towards the massive mountain range. His feet and legs were getting very tired from walking in the deep desert sand. After walking for a few miles, Akinro saw something strange sticking out of the sand."What's that?" he asked while pulling it out of the sand,"It looks like, a sword." He pulled the sword out of its sheath, it was as long sabre with a strange jewel in the handle and an inscription that said, Akatachi's Wrath."Akatachi!" said Akinro,"He was one of the past chiefs! I'd better keep this safe!" He put the sword on his back and continued onward. After walking many miles, the day drew to a close."I'd better set up camp" he said,"I'll need to make a fire so I can cook the food I packed" He found some firewood and started a campfire to cook his food, afterwards he went to sleep for the night. About 3 hours later, while Akinro was still asleep, 2 strange men approached his camp."Is this the kid?" asked one of them to the other."Yeah, this is him" the other replied, "This'll be a piece of cake!" They snuck up behind him and tied him up."Wait what's going on?!?" asked Akinro as he woke up,"Who are you two?!?" "Quiet kid!" one of them replied,"Your comin' with us! Quick, take the sword and the necklace before he can us 'em!" "What are you talking about?!?" Akinro asked."Don't play dumb with us kid!" the other one replied,"Quick knock him out!" The other one hit him with a club. As Akinro went down, he thought he saw a familiar figure approach him. They took him to their large ship, and flew away from planet Yoshoi...

Abilities: She has the power to kill--and to heal. She can bring things back from the dead, but only for one minute, otherwise someone else, within a five mile radius dies. Once she brings something back to life, she can never touch it again, for she would kill it and not be able to bring it back. She can fly, as well.
Number left: She's the only one of her kind...so she thinks.
