Cloak was leaning against a tree when students began to wander back over, carrying the assorted missing pieces of crazy Uncle Shiv. She reached into her pocket and gave each successful student one of those stupid pendant things that everyone was so giddy over (seriously, what did these students do with these things? Were they for some ridiculous pendant collection?). It didn't matter much to her - they were useless, but good bribes.
Then, in the distance, she saw a wolf bringing back a very excitable head in his jaws. As soon as he was at her feet, he began to sing, and the grimace that stretched over her lips was all the clue these students needed as to how or why she'd managed to lose every piece of him but his arm.
"Alright, alright," she muttered, nudging the head towards her lepus guide (who skittered away with it into the forest, like he had every other piece so far). She plopped her last pendant point into the boil's hand, then turned to address the helpful students.
"Thanks kids, just don't tell Dagger about this, okay?" Then she was gone, presumably to put Uncle Shiv back together - or maybe just to bury him somewhere until Dagger got back.
