It was our hope to have a thread for each type of Cancer. Unfortunately there are just too many to fully do that. I created a number of threads and am linking information on all Cancers here.

Awesome! And I see you're a Leukemia survivor! It's no easy feat, Leukemia is the most aggressive of all Cancers; as you may know. I have a survivor list in that thread I can add you to if you want.

Awesome! And I see you're a Leukemia survivor! It's no easy feat, Leukemia is the most aggressive of all Cancers; as you may know. I have a survivor list in that thread I can add you to if you want.

Yeah, it almost killed me. I was close to dying by the time I was officially diagnosed. The cells traveled into my spleen and if I didn't receive chemo immediately, my spleen would have burst.
I wouldn't mind one bit if you added me to the list. o w o

Also, I hope you don't mind if I ask you to encourage people to donate bone marrow. Part of what's keeping my leukemia from coming back was due to a bone marrow transplant.

My plat doll was made in the shape of a cancer ribbon for this very reason. The secret pose on the original and all the recolors represent cancer colors heart

Multiple myeloma took my mother when I was 13. She was only 45. Cancer is awful, I wish there was more to be done about it.

My mom's had a couple types of cancer, but she's been surprisingly healthy going through chemo twice now...Currently she's going through Breast Cancer, but due to insurance being hard to work with, apparently we'll have to wait until they remove the tumor. I hope she'll be okay...it makes me afraid for both her future and my brother and sister's, 'cause I fear it might be genetic.

Seeing your mom get really sick due to common illnesses is hard to go through.

Ewing Sarcoma is not on the list. It is a Pediatric Bone Cancer.
The posted list is the complete list from the Mayo Clinic of all cancers. As Children can get any Cancer I don't have 'children' specifically listed. But that list is copy/pasted from their site.

I've had a childhood friend die from childhood bone cancer, so I'll post a link to a cancer foundation that does fundraising events in my area:
St.Baldricks

They shave people's head and/or cut people's to raise money for childhood cancer research. I've had my head shaved twice while in college in memory of my childhood friend.
