Chiron City is the sister shop of the Cein Isles. This is an alternate world with magic and modern technology. Taur owners may port their characters from CI to CC, but the two worlds will never be able to meet. Chiron City taurs and Cein Isles taurs will never be able to intermingle.

Chiron City does not share some of the same naming policies that its sister shop, The Cein Isles, does. Please be sure to read the naming policy below for more information.

  • No rude, offensive, or otherwise hurtful names.
  • Names CAN contain purely numbers or partial numbers. ( example: "Moe1599" )
  • Cosplays and normal "Modern" CC taurs can share the same/similiar name(s).
  • Pygmies and standard taurs may share the same name.

Essential Disclaimer:
  • Please make sure you are aware of these rules BEFORE purchasing or owning a Chiron City taur. Ignorance of these rules does not make you immune.
  • Please turn OFF posting styles when roleplaying or during events! Post colors used for RP characters are acceptable. Post styles that include graphics and ornate text art are not acceptable.
  • Shop owners reserve the right to ban, retired, or rehome (with refund to the owner) your taur if the current owner has been banned permanently.
  • We will hold you responsible for anything that occurs on your account. If someone is known to cause trouble you should know enough to change your password. If we catch you using mules to cause trouble, we will ban your main account and all your associated mules.
  • Banned accounts are not permitted to roleplay, breed, or co-own taurs.

User ImagePlease note CI & CC taurs are NOT RP-required pets! Though there will also be plenty of opportunities to roleplay, and good roleplay or journal-keeping will be rewarded!

General Roleplay Etiquette
  • No Godmoding! What this means is no taking control of another person's character or roleplaying through a scene without giving them a chance to respond.

    Example of UNACCEPTABLE roleplay:
    Maia leaps up, and with a deft slash of her blade, she strikes the beast down before it even has a chance to raise its claws in attack!

    Example of ACCEPTABLE roleplay:
    Maia draws her shortsword and charges at the beast, raising her blade to strike as she nears it.

    The acceptable form allows other players to add in what their characters will do in the scenario. Remember, you're roleplaying for YOUR character... no one else's!

  • Keep it PG13! Please no scenarios & language that's beyond PG13. That's not our rules, those are the limitations set by Gaia Online itself. Romance and allusions to sex are fine. Everything that's not PG13 should not be posted anywhere on Gaia Online.

  • Remember some standard rules of RP etiquette: Please use parenthesis (( )) to denote out of character (OOC) speaking during an RP session. If someone has a post listed as a private RP between a small group of people, please respect that... don't just barge in with your character unless you ask first, or are invited.

  • Spelling counts! We try not to be a spelling and grammar nazi, as we know everyone's spelling and grammar may differ. Try to form coherent sentences and put some thought into your RP posts. Please no 1337-speak or chat/text speak while posting roleplays.
