General Rules
  • If you can't be bothered to read the rules or abide by them, then do NOT participate.
  • Follow ALL Gaia Online TOS, naturally.
  • No whining, begging, or guilt tripping.
  • Questions that are answered on this front page will NOT be answered by the staff.
  • Do NOT PM the staff questions directly to their in-boxes, if you have any unanswered questions please PM the "-Cein-Isles-" mule.


Prizes and Participation Rules
  • Due to the increase of one-time-only posters who only showed up during the 100-page draws, we are requiring that people who wish to win this year's 100-page prizes (prizes given away for free whenever the pages hit in the hundreds) to be already actively posting. Roleplay, however, is not required for these give-away taur.
  • Prizes such as chibis are not roleplay-able, they are merely considered gift art even if they are sometimes given names. Please do not roleplay them in the main and event thread.
  • Sometimes the staff will give out special prizes to whom ever they deem worthy of them. Please do not beg for such prizes.

A: Chiron City pygmies have higher technology at their disposal (modern times technology) whereas Cein Isles ones do not just as their full taur counterparts do.

How To Give A Gift:
  • Find a friend. j/k!!
  • All gifts MUST be given a name. "Let them choose." and "Whatever they decide." is NOT acceptable! Any orders with something similar to that in the "Name:" section will be denied.
  • You may only buy for other people, these are gifts after all! Please, don't use mules to cheat the system.
  • Each pygmy costs 1k. What can we say? It's the Grinch in us, we need money.
  • You may give out as many pygmies as you like.
  • You may give these out anonymously.
  • We will deliver gifts via PM.
  • We are not responsible for gifts not sent out to people who do not allow PM's in their inbox.
  • Gifts will be listed in the "Pick-Up" section of this thread.
  • Gifts will not be created until the trades are completed. Incomplete trades will not be processed.

Auction Description: A storm rages over the dilapidated basket. Yet the waves seem to bow before it as they pass, and the water beneath it calms as not to threaten the basket with tipping. Far beneath the citizens of the sea watch it's progress with wide eyed curiosity. Surely someone had placed an enchantment upon it. Whispers cut though the silence. Who did it, and why did they use such a powerful spell on such a battered vessel? None dare approach.

Kithria watches the basket as the waves push it upon the shore. She nods, knowing it is beyond her reach. Reaching out she sings. The song is old, a requiem known only to the unitaur. It starts slow and mournful but the pace soon quickens as the song becomes hopeful, even joyful. As she watches a figure approaches the basket drawn by the tune. She smiles, the infant inside will not die today...

The Oceanic uni is based loosely on the story of The Knights of the Fish. As I imagine him he will be naturally drawn to water as he grows, preferring to learn and master water based magic over all else. If the auction goes over 2m the owner will be given two versions of him. One regular and one in full armour. If the auction is Autobid then he will be given a semi-custom twin, male or female, both with regular and full armour variations. The armour will (naturally) be fish based.

A Little bit about Seahorses: As I'm sure many of you know seahorses are famous for one thing in particular... it's the males who become pregnant! For the seahorses of Cein Isles this means that it's traditionally the males who stay home and watch the young and the females who hunt, gather, and engage in battle. However, this does not mean that the males are of elevated status as with the harpies. Male seahorses are no different in treatment or ability then any of the regular females of the isles.
Seahorses are also the only community on the isles that practice group marriage. Strange? Maybe... I think this race is gonna be interesting...
