When I joined Gaia, almost two years ago, the Dj Studio Headphones were one of the first items I fell in love with. This is partly because I have an intense love of music, and they are a way to express that on my avatar. As such, I gazed at them from afar, always wishing but telling myself that they were simply out of reach. It wasn't until recently, however, that the thought came into my mind to actually quest them with the determination to see it through. This thread is the embodiment of my determination. My statement that I will achieve the seemingly impossible dream of attaining a pair of Dj Studio Headphones for myself. You might be wondering why I'm running so many quests simultaneously to this almost insurmountable task. My reasoning? Why not? They are also items that I would like, and I could possibly pick them up as I tread the longer path towards the headphones. So, that having been said, welcome to my quest thread.

Now a little information about me. My name is Rachel. I'm 27 years old, and I'm an on-again, off-again college student. One day I'll find exactly what I want to do for the rest of my life, but I haven't quite yet. I hold two jobs (one full time, one part time), and I'm usually busy with various projects of my own, but I still find time to enjoy Gaia. As it says in my profile, I am a transsexual, but hopefully that won't have any bearing on our interaction. As I said before I love music, but that's far from my only interest. I'm an aspiring author (still unpublished, but I keep plugging away at it), and I love to cook. I even tried following a culinary career, but I've recently come to feel that that path just doesn't suit me. Anyway, I guess that's it. If you have any questions, just ask. I won't make any guarantees on whether or not I'll answer, but asking won't do any harm. Please enjoy your stay.

All the quests I'll be listing here are based on the One Red Paperclip idea. I've just changed the original offers. This idea, of course, involves trading items over and over again, spiraling ever upwards, until I reach the goal. Considering the extreme cost of the top item I have a feeling that by the end gold will have to be involved, but I'll wait until I've seen whether the idea will take off or not before I even think about reaching the end of the quest.

Yes, I've decided to add a small revolving lottery to this thread.
Lotto Rules:
Label your trade "10K Lottery" so we can avoid unnecessary confusion
You can only buy ten tickets at a time, up to a maximum of 50 tickets per drawing.
Tickets are 50g each. There are 250 tickets available.
You cannot request specific ticket numbers.
Winners will be determined by the Random Number Generator post action.
The prize is 10,000 gold. The remaining 2500 will go to my various quests.
This is a revolving lotto. After each drawing I will reset this post and a new drawing will begin. I will not bar the previous drawing's winner from entering again.
You cannot win more than three drawings in a row. Should this happen, unlikely as it is, I will ask you to sit out the next three drawings.
