This shop has MANY sections and discounts available.... all with their own respective RULES! So please read all information CAREFULLY. It may be a lot to absorb, but I'll try to explain things thoroughly.

I AM STILL finishing everyone's commissions.. but due to deadlines at the job, I won't be available for a month. It's sort of a last minute emergency.
I'm really sorry for the waiting inconvenience.

But GOOD news, is that I'll be getting A LOT of colouring practice. So when I finally get back to my Gaia work, I'll be able to make everyone's commissions look even better.


About the Artist:

Hello! This is my first major art shop here on Gaia. (Or in general really...)
I'm known on other sites by either "Lunar Eclipse" "Lunaris Eclipse" or "D.Eclipse".
My basis for this shop is mostly to encourage myself to draw. Sadly, I'm one of those artists that NEVER finish anything!!

Procrastination may as well be my middle name. sweatdrop

HOWEVER, I did come across a bit of a solution. I do seem to finish art when I feel the pressure of a commission nagging at my heels. I hate to disappoint people.

The gold I get is my added bonus. But the real reward is actually finishing art. whee

SOMETHING IMPORTANT YOU MUST TAKE INTO CONSIDERATION BEFORE COMMISSIONING ME:
I'm SLOW. Slow as cold molasses. You WILL wait a few weeks for me to finish a full colour picture normally (And that's if you are in FIRST SLOT). gonk

This is mostly because I'm busy right now with personal things, and because I'm a horrible perfectionist.. and often draw 3-5 different roughs before I follow through with one. I'm also a colouring NEWB. I still have a lot to learn about the fastest way to colour certain things and I experiment a lot. Sometimes I may delete and re-colour an entire days worth of work because it's below my standards! I'm totally Attention Deficit too... which makes it hard for me to work effectively for extended periods. SORRY! sweatdrop

I will get faster with more practice. Practice makes perfect. But I still require much of it. User Image

That being said, you WILL always get your art. The issue is simply the wait time. If you are in a rush... maybe you should consider a faster artist ATM.

I do pride myself on one thing.. and that's to always challenge myself and improve on my next picture. I promise quality. And if you are unhappy with something in the art, just ask me to change it. I never get offended with critique.

It's a learning experience. biggrin

Due to the long wait, I will provide all commissioners with a WIP every so often to keep you up to date.
I also have a +Current WIP+ section posted further down so that people waiting in the slots can see how far along I am in my current project. This should give them an idea on their own wait time.


I DRAW:

User ImageAlmost anything, but keep it anime style at the moment. Anime style is most fun for me! (With the exception of some listings in the discount section).

User ImageI'll do Avatar art, personal character art, or Fan Art from nearly any anime series or game you want. But please be ready to provide me with reference pictures!

User ImageI draw Fan Art semi on-model. I like my Fan Art to have a touch of my style in it, but I like to keep the characters as on-model as possible aside from that.
I love character model sheets to study when I do Fan Art. Or simply a lot of good shots from different angles.

User ImageI draw Yaoi. I draw Yuri. I draw light hentai. I will draw anything so long as it's not too hard core dirty. If it's a picture you need to hide under your mattress due to perverse content.. then chances are, I'll not want to draw it. Any art I draw is candidate for a portfolio piece. So try to keep things relatively clean. If you are DESPERATE beyond belief, I make exceptions.. but those exceptions may force me to exchange art through email to abide by Gaia ToS.

This section covers instructions on how to place your requests and sending PMs. It also covers some of the more critical rules regarding the separate discount sections. READ IT before you do anything!

Rule 1:
Always read the +Artist Information and News+ section! If you skipped it... GO BACK. It's important!

Rule 2:
Read all information in each respective discount section THOROUGHLY if you are intending on trying for a discount!

DO NOT request for discount on characters not listed in the discount area! Especially unlisted, popular characters (Naruto/Bleach/Inuyasha/Final Fantasy 7/etc...). There are a million other artists that have drawn these characters to heck and back. If it's not on the list, you pay full price. Sorry. :/

Rule 3:
CHECK SLOTS as well as previous posts and pages before commissioning! Someone may be listed in a previous post and not yet added to slots yet. I will try to update as much as I can, but I cannot be around all the time! Previous posts are your friend!

Rule 4 (Blue Moon):
This discount special is first come, first serve. It can end at any time I feel uninspired by the idea listed. Check previous posts before trying for it.

Rule 5:
You can use my thread to discuss things as long as they remain on the topic of art, the shop, or series listed in the discount areas. But don't start talking about random off-topic stuff. That's what chatterbox is for.....

All that plus bumping is appreciated. But don't go mad. We want people to be able to view previous commission posts easily!!!

Rule 6 (How To Commission Me):
These steps are slightly different if you are trying to negotiate a price before placing your commission! Price negotiation is covered in Rule 7!

If you decide to use the PSU special along side another discount. Under Discount Being Applied For simply write: PSU, then either Blue Moon, Bribe, or Character/s Name/s afterward.

Exceptions to this rule sometimes occur when a "special" such as a "Bribe" or the "Blue Moon" automatically earn you a specific slot number. But you still must always post in this thread before sending a PM just to let others know that you called first dibs on any limited specials!

Rule 7 (Price Negotiation):
If you are interested in trying to negotiate a different price other than my standard rates, you MUST add an addition step to the commission process.

**I apologize for my high rates. This is due mostly because I'm busy ATM, PLUS the fact that I am very slow... and spend a lot of time fussing with my work. My prices may drop when I gain confidence and I am able to complete work at a faster pace!**

Full Colour CG, Single Character:
The cost will fall higher or lower within the specific range depending on complexity and background work.

Portrait or Bust: 2-4 Mil
Hip shot or waist up: 4-7 Mil
Full Body: 7-9 Mil

**Requesting Full Colour will also get you a copy of the Line Art Version PLUS a high quality .PSD file sized to have prints made! The .PSD (If it's of your avatar, PSU Character, or one of your own original characters) will be exclusive to you. I will not share the .PSD printable with anyone else. The .jpg or .png will be added to my gallery however.**

If you request Fan Art I claim the right to create prints for other people if I really desire. However, you will still get an honourable mention on the print. That of being the original commissioner and thusly an important part of the artwork's existence.

I work very LARGE! Your print should look exceptional, even after I shrink the art, on 8.5X11 paper at the least.


Line Art Only:
The cost will fall higher or lower within the specific range depending on complexity and background work.

Portrait or Bust: 300,000 - 500,000
Hip shot or waist up: 1 Mil
Full Body: 2-4 Mil

**For Line Art only, you will still get a quality .PSD file along with the .jpg file.
I don't like to make prints of Line Work normally. So you'll be the only one with a printable .PSD file. If it's Fan Art, I may offer prints to others... but I doubt it. I still claim the right to do so though.


Alternate Payment Options:

User ImageI accept items on my wishlist in place of Gold. So long as their average marketplace value is equal to the commission cost.

This section is dedicated to special discounts that have the catch of following very restricted rules and limits!

This section outlines any projects that I have a burning desire to create, but know I'll never follow through with unless someone pushes me to complete them!

I concluded after several requests and commissions that I always complete work for others, but never for myself!
If I want to create a big project, I always need someone cracking a whip behind my back. I suppose that the instance of someone offering money of some sort and counting on me to create something great for them is that metaphorical whip I need!

That's the basis for this section.

It's restrictive and it's available only once, for whomever requests it first!
That person receives an honourable mention on any prints I create and their own high quality .PSD file.
This will be printable in the maximum size/resolution dictated for the current project.

The Blue Moon Special can end at any time I feel more inspired by another subject matter, although it's possible that new additions may be added to the current single one.

Specials here will normally be ridiculously inexpensive compared to my normal rates. They may also include more than two characters, extensive backgrounds, and/or be printable in sizes far larger than 8.5x11.

However, as stated, the catch is that the subject matter and composition are chosen by myself!
People may have no interest in this special at all if it deals with characters that mean nothing to them, obviously!

Blue Moon will always deal with Fan Art work. So check in on it from time to time if you think characters you like as much as I do have the chance to appear in it!

Any characters I list in the +Regular Discounts+ section have a chance for Blue Moon. Specifically * marked characters.

Also, if anyone notes any Blue Moon Specials that don't interest them, but happen to know someone who would be interested, it would be fantastic and GREATLY appreciated if a link to this shop was shared with them!

I will add a discount of (at least 40% off) to ANY future commission belonging to a Gaian that refers the Blue Moon to a client. However, that client must tell me who referred them AND be the Gaian to receive the special! Only one person can obtain the referral discount!

Because it's always more fun for me to draw characters I like, I offer special discounts to people who request my favourites. Fun, in my opinion, means less work... so I think it's fair for people to get compensated for my entertainment. :p

Discounts will range from 20% to 50% off my standard rate!
Characters with *s beside their names will get you the highest discount for the current time.
This changes depending on my mood. So grab * characters when they are available!

I also will only do a discount ONCE! When I have already taken a request for a character, that character will be striked off the list and no longer be available for discount. They may become available again later, so they will not disappear from the list. They will simply remain void of discount until I regain interest in drawing them.
First come, first serve. I don't normally enjoy drawing the same thing over and over... even when I'm a fan of it (some exceptions may apply).

Compositions here that offer more than one character automatically start at the max price range BEFORE discount. An intricate picture with a background, full colour, and over one character will start at 9Mil. But could end up being as low as 4.5Mil with discount.

Do not ask me to add characters to the list!!! If you have suggestions for anime you think I may like, you can post suggestions in the thread. My taste in characters is very unpredictable though, and people are sometimes surprised at what I end up liking.... the personality of a character is most important. Looks fall second. Just because a character is man-pretty... their personality can destroy them for me quite easily. :/

**This is only available for people who can play on XBox360 PSU servers!!!**

After doing a bit of research, I've discovered that trading in-game money (Meseta) and Items in the MMORPG "Phantasy Star Universe" for art is totally acceptable. As long as no real money is involved.

Because I often play PSU, I included this section as an alternate method for obtaining art from me.
My prices are the same, whether you pay in Gaia Gold or Meseta.

A bonus to having an account on PSU is that I can also draw art of your personal PSU character.

If you wish use PSU currency or items as payment, you still need a Gaia account so that I can add you to a Slot and keep track of you here on Gaia.

However, all trades and further information will be handled over PSU and XBoxLive.
You can also leave messages and keep track of me at my profile on PSO-World Here: Lucian Kujaku on PSO-World.

After following the instructions on how to place a commission (outlined in rule 6 in the +Rules+ section), you must send me a PM including your GamerTag so that we can meet up online.
You must friend me on XBoxLive (at least for the commission duration), AND trade your PSU Gamer Card with me. This is more for your own benefit than mine in a way.

Aside from Meseta, I'm also looking for the following items:

CLOSED!!!! The former bribe holder of 16mil had their account hacked. Therefore I am no longer holding these expensive bribes ATM. Maybe in the future... however.. I am thoroughly disgusted right now and don't feel like putting my own (or a potential customer's) inventory/account at risk.....

YES! At this time, I will personally say... a bribe may not be worth it.
They are VERY HIGH and still get shoved in 5th slot. If you want to sit around and wait, prices may drop, and slots may open. I'm just really busy right now.

The small benefit of a Bribe though, is that I'm not planning on doing a 5th slot at all.
After I finish my first 3 commissions and possibly the +Blue Moon Discount+, I'm closing up for a little while to possibly do an art auction with a friend. I made a promise to do that with her. 5th slot will be my last available for probably quite a long time. :/
