The Setting

You’re walking through town, when you decide to turn off down a dirt road that leads into a forest. You follow it for about 100 yards until you reach an opening in the trees and there sits and inn. It sends off a soft glow, which is friendly and welcoming. You see a a deep pond to the left of the Inn, and tables and chairs set out. On the right side of the Inn is a large fire pit, and a large tree with a swing hanging from it. You walk into the two story building and look to your right seeing a desk, in front of it sits a sign reading, "Sign Yourself In" on top of the desk is a sign in sheet and keys hung on the back wall. Straight ahead is a bar with their stools sitting in front of it. There’s a sitting area to the left of the bar that has a stage used both for karaoke and movies. And on the left side is another sitting area with a lit fire for comfort. Finally there’s a set of stairs behind the bar that lead to all the rooms. Welcome to the Broken Bridge Inn.

Okay, so I don’t have very many rules… cause I think you guys know most already, but just in case…

1. Follow the Gaia TOS rules. Be a smart person.
2. Do the romance thing, that’s all gravy. Just don’t go over board, at the most PG-17. if you need to do a time jump thingy, we'd rather not know about your personal... things...
3. PM your profiles to me before you post. I'll PM you an okay when i've accepted it. please and thank you!

4. Stay with the thread, every so often I’ll decide to clean up the character’s post. If you don’t PM a new profile to me, you’re out! If you’re gonna be gone, let me know.
5. (( )) for ooc, “quotes” for talking, and italics for thinking, please. And no * for actions.
6. Fancy looking posts aren’t required.

7. No one liner’s (unless you have a serious brain block), and there’s really no need for two paragraph’s worth of action’s… keep it short, but relatively descriptive…
8. NO BUMPING!!!!
9. Only four character profile’s per person.

10. N-O to godmoding. It’s just rude…
11. Preferably use a third person point of view.
12. So I know you read all the rules, put “Jelly filled chocolate penguins” as the subject for the PM.

Exciting Thing’s That Have Happened!
(i realize that many of these announcements will seem completely pointless *sniffles* but they mean a lot to us...)

4/21/09- Our first interactive pet! Give up a "woot woot" for Terrance The Dancing Raccoon! *Terrance dances in the background* (good job lauralou96).

4/21/09- Ha ha! Success, our first "hook up" of the in between Spike and Linda, snaps for spike and Linda! *snaps finger's* (i really need to stop watching legally blonde...)

4/22/09- We made 2nd in the "Top Rated" on the Community Home page! Hooray!!! Keep rating!!! (thumbs up!!!)

4/28/09- Boy-o, this is exciting! Someone was attacked by a parrot! Go figure! It was intense to! Luckily everyone banded together and had the parrot problem taken care of. Today he shall be shipped back to his rightful owner, probably with brain damage... stupid flying chicken...

4/29/09- I don't know if any of you saw, but we made #1 in "Top Rated" at about midnight last night. Keep it up!

5/8-5/10/2009- We had a luau party, that's right, a Par-teh!! Plus i think there will be more to come! *Audience applause*

6/5-6/8/2009- We had a war re-enactment! and if you were curious about the results:

"Well...you both managed to steal eachothers flag... ((50 points, 50 points)), david was shot 18 times and spike was shot 7 times, ((68 points, 57 points)), David had 14 men enter the inn and one time or another, and spike had 38... ((30 points, 43 points)) and finally... davids side took out a total of 47 of spike's people, and spike took out... 78... ((108 points, 90 points)). so... Spike won!"
