Our shop strives to maintain a welcoming atmosphere for everyone, if you don't want to be a part of the thread chat, then Conseil de Lanterne is a bad match for you.

We are looking for the following :
○ Colorists with edit skills (full time or part time)
○ Full time Colorists
○ Part time Colorists

Hiring will be done in rounds. The first round will last 2 weeks. During that time, you will be asked to provide your own sample work. After the round is over, those who we feel are best qualified will be sent a PM containing our pup template. The second round will last for one week. The samples that come during this round will be the basis of our final decision.

The samples from round 2 will be offered as pets to the colorists (whether they are hired or not). If, at the end of the third week, we do not feel properly staffed, applications will re-open and the hiring process will start again.

Colorist Expectations:
○ You must be able to use PSD files.
○ Edits must be made to match the lines and shading.
○ All staff are expected to post in the thread on a regular basis.
○ You are not allowed to redistribute any of our lineart for any reason.
○ You must inform us if you need to take a hiatus, otherwise you won't have a job when you get back.
○ Part timers are required to submit 1 Conseil a month (growing or adult only). Full timers are required to submit 2 Conseil a month (1 growing, 1 adult only)
○ You are expected to submit all growth stages at the same time. Your pay will be withheld otherwise.

Payments:
○ Colorists are paid 50% from flatsales and raffles, 75% from customs, and 100% from breedings.
○ Full time colorists are allowed up to 5 custom slots a month. Part timers are allowed up to 3 per month.
○ Full timers are allowed to color themselves 1 freebie a month. Part timers are allowed 1 every other month.

Instructions
I have supplied these sample lines from my own collection. They were bought on PonyIsland and the artist is DryadofNature. Lines
○ Samples on these lines are optional.
○ Color or edit the lines as you see fit.

Instructions for all Samples
○ All samples must be in PNG format with a transparent background.
○ If you're applying for an editing position, at least one sample should be edited.
○ Keep the number of samples reasonable.
○ Post all images as links. Do not post full size images.

Have you been by our shop before: Yes I have been here many times I was excited when I heard Raven was opening her own shop... She already knows I admire her Coloring skills
What Instant Messangers do you use? Aim, Yahoo, MSN (but I try to reserve that for RL Friends willing to make exception for Raven only) , also use Myspace IM

Lineart Samples: Simple Color / Color / Simple edit / Gown Edit

Anything else you'd like to tell us? I do edits with a mouse...Simple edits like clothing, accessories, Minor Hair Edits... The better the reference for an edit the better the edit...
I am not real good at shading... Open to any tips and suggestions that can help me get better at shading... I should be able to handle shading for simple edits... I am applying for edits because I can do simple edits and wanted to show that... I also believe that with practice and work my editing skills can only get better....
