Human's pollution has destroyed the once green earth far beyond repair. Forests have wasted away, became void of life, and turned into barren deserts. The rain that once kept the trees alive has become so toxic, that not even cactus will survive its touch. As a result, the earth's animal population is quickly dwindling. The humans who caused this destruction don't seem to care. They carry on with their daily business, completely unaware of exactly how many species they are killing off. As far as they know, the common household dog is the only other animal on earth. Oh, how little do they know...

Archibald was once a typical young boy, growing up in the age of extreme technological advancements. Having a great interest in experimentation at a young age, he combined his love for animals and technology. At first, the quickly growing boy used his science for complete good, creating animal sanctuaries for the dying species. Having saved nearly 100 different types of animals, the 29 year old boy began to desire more. In his mid 30's, Archibald built his laboratory, where he began small experiments upon creatures that had seemed to loose its ability to adjust to the ever changing world. It began with electronic limbs, breathing devices for aquatic creatures, steel horns, and even some crazy attempt to give Chameleons cloaking devices.

However, as the man aged, these simple mutations proved useless to him. He desired more. He wanted to create the ultimate creature. What better specimen than the wolf. Keen senses, pack hunting instincts, and a ranking system much like humans. Toiling away in the darkness of his lab, he began to inject the wolves with anything and everything. Implanting wings upon their backs, horns on their snouts and sides, even extra limbs for greater strength. The once sweet and good intentions turned to crazed obsessions. He is still working, pushing on with his genetic mutations to create the ultimate breed of wolf.

This is the massive structure that nurtures the life of the earth's remaining species. It is the perfect simulation of what the earth once was. Moist soil, clean air, and a thriving ecosystem. The solid dome contains a lake, several rivers, hills, caves, and a variety of terrain to satisfy the needs of every species that lives inside. Hidden sprinklers on the dome's ceiling mimic the wet weather, while soothing lights give the illusion of night and day. Stealthy fog machines create clouds, and air vets simulate the breeze. From the wolf's perspective, there's nothing unusual about the life they live. The territory is so large that, in most cases, a wolf never lives to see the Great Walls. Much mystery is shrouded in these walls, no one knows where they came from, or what they're for. They seem to go on forever into the heavens. The Walls, however, are not the only mystery in this Paradise. The odd two-legged shadows that are said to torture and kill wolves... could be an even more puzzling, and terrifying mystery.

1. Forest of Shadows - A lively forest that is often crawling with Shadow-Walkers. It is said to be cursed, because it is located right against the Great Wall, where the Fear-Walker has made his den. Other than that, this forest is a great place for a wolf to live. It nurtures a variety of prey and exceptional caves.

2. Bountiful Field - A peaceful grassy field where the deer come to graze. The temperature is always mild, and the weather is usually calm.

3. Sightless Mountain - These huge structures are so high, that they are rumored to reach the heavens. If a wolf was even able to make it to the top, they would not be able to see anything. There is constant snowfall and a heavy fog that disables all senses. Life in the peaks of these mountains are scarce. The chilly base of the mountain, however, is thriving with Ibex and birds of prey. There are also thousands of uninhabited caves to claim.

4. Tranquil Pond - A simple, quiet pond. The perfect resting place for a traveling pack, or play place for bored pups.

5. Voltaic Ridge - A small mountain ridge that is constantly booming with thunder. Legend has it that angry or mournful spirits come here to express their rage with deafening howls. This would be a very dangerous place to explore.

6. Shimmering Prairie
- Every night, this vast grassland collects a lot of dew. The morning rays reflect this dew, and creates a breath-taking scene. The weather often moist, but hunting opportunities are plentiful.

7. Burning Desert - Since the desert is crawling with toxic creatures and creates unbearably hot weather, it is rare to find a wolf living here. Only a wolf with exceptional mutations can survive. Once in a while the remains of a foolish traveler can be discovered among the dunes.

Professor Archibald "Fear-Walker"
Status:
EnemyUser Image
The crazed, yet clever man who runs and manages the Paradise. He slaughters animals for the sake of science... and with no remorse. He is a cold being, with a dark, electric aura. Often times, even his assistants are intimidated by his tall, shady appearance. Not to mention those frightening red eyes that illuminate the dark, like fire. It is rare that another would challenge his decisions, especially considering how skilled he is with a syringe. Besides preforming gruesome experiments on his victims, Archi has some other unique hobbies. He's constantly trying to clone his childhood pet, Duchess. He has never been successful, and the bodies of the failed clone are often chopped up into wolf meat.
Only rarely does Archi go into the paradise itself. Dragging a wolf away from its home is the grunts job, anyway. Wolves that survive his encounter call him Fear-Walker, and describe him as the Alpha of all Shadow-walkers. Art by Ju-Tan.

Nicholas Conway "Faith-Bringer"
Status:
Ally
The head doctor of the entire establishment. He is also Archibald's youngest brother. Nicholas is strongly opposed to his brother's practices. In the beginning, they constantly argued, often escalating into violence on Archi's part. Eventually, Nick figured he would do more good cleaning up after his brother than trying to stop him. He spends most of his days closing gaping wounds and comforting sick, dying experiments that Archibald labeled as failures. In his spare time he wanders into the Paradise as a healer among the animals. The wolves have mixed views about this human. Some call him "Faith-Bringer" for saving lives and healing injuries. Others refer to him as just another shadow-walker, who is not to be trusted and should be avoided at all costs. Art by Ju-Tan.

User ImageArchi's Assistants "Shadow-Walkers"
Status:
Enemy
A variety of wild life experts, scientists, and nurses, who creep into the paradise to steal away one wolf at a time for more experiments. Very rarely a wolf will come back alive from an encounter with Shadow-Walkers.

User ImageVittorio Frati "The Assassin"
Status:
Neutral
Vittorio is an Italian assassin, hired by Archibald, to eliminate disloyal or suspicious employees of the paradise. The man is so stealthy, even the assistants closest to Archibald believe The Assassin is a myth. Vittorio never goes into the wolves territory, and has no interest in Archi's experiments... one of the important factors that got him hired in the first place. Art by Quiftan.

User Image

"Destroyer"
Status:
Enemy
A reconstructed bear with no name. It is said he is constantly in pain, and often throws violent tantrums that devastates the life out of his environment. His cries can almost be heard throughout the paradise in his rage. Most label him an enemy, but truly, he is a misunderstood creature. Art by Quiftan.

User ImageRustle "Slick Silver"
Status:
Ally
A truly sly lone wolf. His silver appearance and slick behavior gave him his title. He barters with the creatures of the Paradise, trading his miscellaneous items for services or a meal. Most of the things he carries are fear-walker artifacts, he claims. He brags that he often kills shadow-walkers and loots the bodies. It could make one wonder how he really got those things. Roleplayed by Quiftan.

Pack Structure
Alpha - The most powerful and worthy male in the pack with the leading role. They always eat first after a hunt, but have a heavy responsibility of protecting the entire pack. There is only one in a pack.
Alphress - No less important than the Alpha, Alphress share the leading role in the pack. She is the Alpha's mate, and eats along side him. If there is not an Alpha in the pack, an Alphress is completely capable of taking his place. There is only one in a pack.
Commander - A necessity in a large pack, Commanders help the rest of the pack communicate with the Alphas. They are second in charge, directing hunters and middlings at the will of the Alpha. They are aggressive protectors of the Alphas. There is only one in a pack.
Hunter - This rank belongs to the strongest, and most limber wolves in the pack. They strike first in an attack, and obey the orders of the Commander and Alphas. There can be multiple hunters in a pack.
Mystic - This rank is usually given to qualified females in the pack, their responsibility is to nurse sick wolves with their knowledge of substances with medicinal properties. They also care for young pups while everyone else is out hunting and share stories and legends. There can be multiple mystics in a pack.
Middling - The default rank. This rank belongs to a the wolves who have no particular duty in a pack, but aren't completely useless. They contribute to the hunt, and help protect the alphas. There can be multiple middlings in a pack.
Linkless - Viewed as "stupid", or "useless" by most all the pack members, Linkless wolves are often picked on. They have no responsibilities, and eat the remaining scraps after the hunt. There can be multiple linkless.
Lone - Lone wolves live solitary lives. They hunt for themselves, rarely taking along another wolf with them. Wolves usually become lone when they get outlawed from their pack.

Types
Pure - An untainted creature, completely free of experimental DNA. This species is naturally colored, and have never had any human contact. It is the most common species. (Line edits could include; accessories)
......"Exceptional" The wolves with odd colorations, or abnormal mutations they have received from genes are
......called "Exceptional" pures. They are sometimes mistaken for an Injected.

......Examples: [Color/Hair mutation][Ear Mutation]
Injected - An experiment that was lucky enough to live. Injected species always have had human contact. They usually have color, or growth mutations. (Line edits could include; Accessories, horns, spikes, scales, antlers, feathers, tails)
....."Severe" These wolves have been injected multiple times, enduring serious wounds in the process. The ones
......that survive are called "Severe" injecteds because they can almost be mistaken for Mutants.

......Examples: [Severe Mutations]
Mutant - A result of breeding an injected and a pure wolf. They have the most unusual mutations. (Infinite variety of line edits; but this species is only obtained by breeding)
Reconstructed - Reconstructed wolves were taken away from the Paradise Box for surgery. They usually end up looking like cyborgs.

Lich - These were previously dead wolves that were reconstructed with some mechanical parts and given artificial organs. A quick electric jolt here, a bit of serum there, and bam--back to life they are. They are twitchy, reclusive wolves that despise the still-living, and will do anything in their power to get back at them, especially if they were killed by another wolf. Liches tend to be immensely strong, and their eyes have been modified to have a slight glow to them. Liches are violent, usually somewhat insane wolves, and a well-reconstructed Lich might look just like they had when they were alive. The only way you can tell is the faint glow of their eyes, as well as possibly a musty smell that accompanies them. They are extremely hard to kill, and their amazing durability has led some wolves to believe that they can't be killed.

Sparrow
150px
The most basic and common companion a wolf can have. They are spastic and unreliable when delivering a message, and often give away their position when spying on enemy territory, with a song.

User Image

Kiwi 200px
Ability: If there is a Kiwi among the wolf couple, they will be blessed with extra pups.
This plump, flightless bird is physically useless. They are nocturnal, and because they are seen so rarely, they are said to bring good luck to their wolf's pack.

User ImageOtter
Requirement: The wolf's territory must be near a river to befriend an Otter.
The only companion that can maneuver well under water. Otters are intelligent, and proficient hunters. Therefore, they are nicknamed the River Wolves.

Fruit Bat

These are huge dark creatures that dominate the sky at night. They are graceful in flight, but crash-landing is inevitable, making them poor spies. Sometimes, they will cling to their masters fur during the day while they sleep.

Cobra - Unavailable
Stealthy and toxic companions, they can be deadly even to their masters. With their needle like teeth and dreaded poison, it is unlikely to survive from a cobra bite.

User Image
Coatimundi
Requirement: A wolf must be part of a pack to befriend a Coati.
Coatis are friendly and very social creatures. When needed, they can put up a good fight with their claws, fangs, and tough hide. Even a cobra would think twice before perusing conflict with a Coati.

Ibex - Unavailable
Being two times larger than the average wolf, it is unusual to see an Ibex serving a wolf. Their huge curling horns are an intimidating sight, but the creature itself is usually peaceful. They spend most of their life in the mountains.

Eagle - Unavailable
Requirement: A wolf must be an alpha to befriend an eagle.
Respected and feared in every aspect, the eagle is the most impressive companion to befriend. Their deadly talons, and their talent on the wind make them a revered predator, even among wolves. With the proper tactics, an eagle can easily kill a single pure wolf.

Tarantula

Halloween Special
With prickly fur and eight legs, tarantulas can be very intimidating. The toxic bite is not deadly, but their fangs do enough damage to scar. They can get very large, even bigger than a wolf's face.

Requirements for breeding:
The couple must have at least one completed guild roleplay.
Wolf owners may not breed their own wolves together.
Liches cannot breed.
When puppies arrive, each owner may only keep one. The remainder can be given to newbies, or donated to the shop.

A breeding can result in anywhere from 2 - 5 pups... unless foreign DNA is involved, then it is decreased to 1 - 3 pups, due to mutations that cause death before birth.
