Personality: Axis and be quite harsh with his words, and is quite the smart a**. Isn't one for school, and definitely has a tough attitude. Do, or say something to piss him off you'll know about it. Not only that but he tends to joke around a lot and make sarcastic remarks. Axis does have a sweet spot for cute girls, but isn't considered to be a sleezeball. He's more flirty, and teasing. If there was someone he was with, and liked, he would be very protective. Maybe overbearing depending on the type of girl he is with.
History: Axis's mother had died given birth to him and because of that his relationship with his father is rocky. Even though it was never said out loud it is obvious his father blames him for her death. Axis's ability to create fire with his hands had came from both his mother and father. However his mother from what he was told didn't like using her ability, and his father only used it when he needed to. He on the other hand loves using it whenever he can and didn't give two shits on who saw or not. This often caused a beating from his parent, or got himself grounded. Axis is your typical bad boy and is often seen hanging with the wrong crowd. Setting houses on fire, stealing s**t and all that stuff. When he was eighteen his father had enough and kicked him out of the house, so he is now living on the streets.
However one day after leaving a friend's house, he was swept from the streets -not without a fight of course.- Now, he is living in some weird institution with others like him. And, he plans on finding a way out somehow.

Extra: Axis can be a bit of a softie, but it doesn't show very often. Also, he tends to pull pranks on his roommate a lot.

Personality: Despite tough upbringings, Hannah has maintained a cheerful outlook on life. She had a warm personality and a fiery temper, both sides with the profound ability to affect others. She is head-strong and capable, determined to show others that she is destined to be more than her background allows her to.
History: Growing up, Hannah's mother was an alcoholic for the first several years of Hannah's life. With a too-often intoxicated mother and a no-show father, Hannah learned to raise and look after herself at an early age.
tab Hannah's powers manifested themselves when she was six years old when Hannah accidentally lit a boy's hair on fire. Because neither child could possibly explain what had happened, medical bills were paid and nothing came of the incident. However, from that moment on Hannah knew that she had the potential of being dangerous. Initially frightened of her actions, Hannah attempted to quell her anger whenever it began to boil to the surface, only to discover that it made her powers stronger and more uncontrollable when she finally did let them out. As a result, Hannah instead does her best to control her anger, although small embers can often be seen flying from her hands when she gets into a heated debate.
tab Hannah's mother had a moment of clarity when Hannah was eight years old and decided, spur-of-the-moment, to pack up and move to begin a new life for herself and her daughter. The two of them moved to Arizona, as Hannah preferred dry weather and sun. It was there that they bonded. Free from the torment of the old life, Hannah and her mother grew extremely close-- enough so that Hannah decided to tell her mother about her "gifts." Her mother, for a long time, was silent after Hannah broke the news. Then, she simply nodded and leaned in to hug her daughter.
tab That night, Hannah found her mother drinking again.
tab Now, blaming herself and her curse for her mother's return to habitual suicide, Hannah wanders the streets of New Mexico, cursing her powers and looking for answers as to how they came to be.

Extra: Hannah is very opposed to the idea of alchohol and, though will keep quiet when others consume a little bit, becomes very vocal if they drink in excess. She herself does not drink.

Personality: Hali is a very happy, outgoing girl, but can be quite the spazz if something scares her. Hali goes from 0 to 10 very quickly. She gets supper frantic, and just starts spewing the first things that come to her mind. She can be a little naive at times, but it can't be helped.
History: Hali was born with a strange, but special gift that not a lot of people have. Since she was born she always had been able to turn invisible. Something that was passed down to her from her mother. However because of her ability she wasn't allowed to show it to people in fear that bad things may happen. So only a few select close friends knew of her ability unknown to her parents. As a child Hali developed this game with her parents called 'Where is Hali?' This includes her using her power and her parents had to try and find where she was. The girl loves dressing up and is a BIG fan of sweets, but don't touch her food. She gets pretty aggressive when someone goes in to steal a bite. Despite her normally happy-go-lucky nature, she can be quite the deviant. She loves pulling pranks, scaring people and things such as that. One day she came home from picking up a few items from the store. However a hand covered her mouth, and she passed out due to the fact the person had chloroform on a rag. She then woke up in a strange place in a white room, and she was scared. So, she of course banged on the door wanting to be free. Luckily there was another girl in the room with her, and kind of helped calm her down.

Weaknesses: Although Aaron's self-healing ability is quite remarkable, his regenerating cells do not keep him from growing older. There is also a few second delay before they kick in.

Personality: Aaron is a laid-back sort of guy, pretty much to a fault. He despises having any sort of responsibility, forced or otherwise. He constantly shrugs off tasks assigned to him, so much so that most just stop bothering to ask. Aaron knows he's unreliable, but he doesn't really care. In fact, he wants people to talk about how flaky he is-- maybe that way his dad'll realize that Aaron is, in fact, not a good choice for new head of the family business.
tab Despite Aaron's obvious daddy issues and near hypengyophobia, Aaron is not a bad person. If someone's life or heart depended on it, he would take the weight of the world on his shoulders... for a brief time. Aaron is a genuinely well-meaning guy, although his ego and flirtatious nature can sometimes get the better of him.
History: Born with a silver spoon in his mouth, Aaron has never had to work a day in his life. The entitled name, status, education, and money are all his father's earnings. His father, originally from a humble background, started Douglas Papers Inc.-- an originally small but ambitious company that soon rose in the ranks of the business world. This allowed him the chance to make both a name and fortune for himself... and he accomplished both quite well.
tab Aaron's father, since the time of the boy's birth, has given Aaron near free access to his funds, so long as Aaron promises to "be reasonable." Not sending his father into bankruptcy has been Aaron's only real steady show of self-control that the boy has ever shown.
tab Aaron's father, consumed with his business, has had little time for family in the past two decades. So much so, in fact, that his wife, furious with his inattention to her, left him. The man remarried a younger woman who Aaron bluntly refers to as "that ho." Aaron has tried but failed repeatedly to contact his birth mother.
tab Aaron's powers manifested at the age of fifteen, after a broken jaw due to the result of a wayward kick on the soccer field. Aaron, several teeth lying on the pitch, waited for the ambulence to arrive. In that time, his teeth had regrown ad his broken jaw reduced itself to a fracture. To this day, Aaron isn't entirely sure how he wasn't abducted by white-coats on the spot, but he suspects some underhand dealings took place.
tab On his 18th birthday, his father announced that he was cutting Aaron off, cold-turkey, from his bank accounts. Needless to say, Aaron did not adjust well. Although his father gave him a job at Douglas Papers Inc., Aaron's irresponsibility was so much so that his father was forced to fire him. That night, Aaron was kicked out on the streets. He did not get far, however, before a mysterious figure approached him from behind, knocking the boy out with a blow to the head.

Extra: Soccer is the only thing Aaron has ever worked at to improve. Some math is easy for him and he likes it, but it comes naturally to him. Aaron also has a very good spatial awareness.

Personality: Sven is a pretty reserved person, and often keeps to himself. If you talk to him, he'll talk back, but he likes doing his own thing. He is found playing the violin, or piano in his home, and once he plays ...don't interrupt him. He is also pretty bright, and very observant. Also, he is very cautious when a situation proves dangerous.
History: Sven's birth parents had died a horrible death when he was three, so he was put into foster care. Eventually when he was five he was adopted by a nice couple who were unlucky to have a child on their own. His adoptive parents were from a very musical background, so that had a great influence on him as he grew up. His new mother taught him how to play the violin, and he caught on pretty quickly. When he was thirteen his mother had found out she was pregnant with a baby girl. They thought it was a miracle since they was for sure that she could never have a child on her own. Worried about Sven growing jealous, they made sure to tell him that he was still very important to him. When his sister Alice was born, he was actually excited. It was nice to have a sibling to play with. At the age of fourteen, he started to notice strange things about himself. One day when pouring himself a glass of water...the water had turned into ice. Little things like that started to occur and it concerned him. One day when he got angry over his something, he slammed his hands down onto the table. Moments later the table turned into ice. It took a while, but he noticed that he could create and turn things into ice. He was scared of his ability at first, but got use to it. Sven never told his parents of his new power afraid they would be terrified of him. Now that he is older, he can create anything out of his ability. The most common thing is making an ice violin to play on.However one day after school, some thugs from school approached him to pick a fight. They were obviously stronger than him by strength, so he had no use other choice than to use his ability. He had hurt them pretty good, but not so much as to kill them. However after all of that they fled from the scene, and halfway home, he was hit on the head. Now, he is currently in an institution away from the outside world.

Personality: Jack is a stubborn, abrasive person who is, at first, very difficult to get along with. He doesn't talk much, and when he does it's usually to say something sarcastic. If you manage to put up with all his bull, however, you get to know that Jack is actually a pretty giving person. Although Jack can be mildly obsessive or neurotic at times, he simply enjoys having order in his world. He also has a mildly sarcastic streak him that tends to show itself at odd times. Although he is more than capable of filtering what he says, Jack prefers to let others know his snide comments.
tab Jack has the gift of empathy-- not in a literal, telekinetic sense, but in more subtle, intuitive way. Perhaps this comes with the territory of someone who deals with the mind, but Jack has the scary ability to pick up on feelings with pinpoint accuracy.
History: Jack's life has been one institution after another. Although both his parents are alive and well, his father is a high-ranking officer in the navy and his mother is an important business woman for a communications company. As such, neither of them have ever had much time for child-rearing.
tab Not that Jack really minds, though. He has grown used to the independence of boarding school life and finds comfort in the various texts that he can get his hands on. When Jack's powers manifested themselves at age sixteen, Jack went immediately to his school's Library for answers. At age eighteen, and upon becoming a legal adult, Jack enlisted in the military to follow in his father's footsteps. Instead of being assigned to Boot Camp, however, the government somehow got wind of his psychic abilities and Jack got landed in The Facility. Now he spends he days jumping though hoops to please the researchers while searching for his own answers as to why and how he was given these gifts. His father has been told of Jack's abilities and writes to Jack on occasion. (The letters are, of course, scanned and checked before given to students.)
