His Story

-Zhivago was first introduced in 2005, although it would be another year before he made another appearance and two years before anyone knew his identity. He assassinated Johnny Gambino in April of 2005, sending the Tower of Gambino crumbling and, seemingly, both Gambinos to their deaths (of course, Gino survived and Johnny was later resurrected by Labtech X in early 2007). He went on to shoot Ian (this, too, was not lethal, and Zhivago implied it wasn't meant to be) near the end of January of 2006. He took the shot at 11:55 AM from atop the clock tower both times.

-During Halloween 2k7, he was finally properly introduced as Vladimir Von Helson's associate, later revealed to be the Sniper in the second installment of the MMVII series. It's possible Zhivago had been in his position as lieutenant for more than 19 years--consider that Gino was supposedly born in 1988 and was just a baby at the time of Ian's flashbacks. He received the scars on his face from Edmund, who was protecting a fleeing Ian.

-He provided exposition and some minor conflict for the brothers, both Von Helson and Gambino, to get through (solved twice by throwing him from a great height and once by flanderizing other characters) during the event. It's unclear from the footage whether he fired the killing shot or Edmund did, or whether it was some mixture of both bullets that resulted in Vladimir's death; regardless, Zhivago more or less disappeared for another three years.

-There have been various hints that he lives in the House on the Hill in Dead Man's Pass, possibly even while he was working for the Von Helsons. He made an appearance in the zOMG! trailer (two, if you include the Sniper), and on the zOMG! quests Denial of Service and Deadman Spies more or less confirmed it. It would appear he's also taken the animated as pets. Also, he may or may not have made the clutches some cute little trinkets.

-Some time between November of 2007 and March/April of 2010, he started working for the Kuro Gang, assassinating Johnny Gambino for the second time and getting his arm broken in the process. The Don then tasked him with killing Gino Gambino and pitted him against Cresento and Nicolae (whom, it is interesting to note, Zhivago referred to solely by their race). Zhivago seemed to see it as just another hit, but, possibly due to apprehension over Luca's warning that Gino 'may surprise [him]', he tried to back out after further consideration. However, his glove was bound to him by then (he either hadn't tried to take it off in the time it took to heal his arm, or he'd put it back on recently), and through it Luca could administer excruciating pain to get Zhivago to do his bidding.

-With a tip from Cordell, he flew all the way to Dref Dur (suggesting his bats can fly faster than Crsento's airship), but all he got there was one more kill, maybe more scars, and no Gino. Luca sent him back to work as soon as possible, but he was unable to kill Gino in time. He disappeared for a fourth time, and he's only come back recently, trying to settle a grudge with Edmund while the Nyx and everyone else hash it out.

-Zhivago also made an appearance in a goofy mini-comic (set before he got the glove or after his broken arm healed) and was a source of exposition in the Halloween 2k12 event.

_LMFAO TBH tho......LIke if you can't perfect Johnny's laugh you're gonna get #wrekt by the audiance especially bc gaia was so storyline heavy at the time rip.
Not to mention Zhivago's wonderful apple hand scene........
But at the same time I can't help but be forgiving b/c it was their first movies...

Do you have headcanons about him?

I can't think of any that I've had over the years, but since he's a character who tends to show up at some of the most pivotal points in Gaia's history, he's definitely worth keeping an eye on.

It would be interesting to learn his backstory - who taught him how to shoot?
