Kancho told me Simon left. I don't quite understand why, but apparently I'm to take care of all this pets while he's gone. Simon should remember his responsibilities to his family and his elders better. I thought he was a good person, but just leaving all these little creatures behind...

I've been enticing Alchiba into helping me care for them. He has grown since I met him, and can stand up and walk around just fine. When he falls, he's a big boy and doesn't even cry! He helped me carry cat food and dog food from the kitchen to that closet.

Keeping ll those animals in that tiny closet really isn't right, but the animals all seem to want to stay there. It's odd. I know they can talk, but only Colin and Griswald say anything to me. And Griswald doesn't say much.

I'm still wondering about that thing with Yakushi-san. She said he would probably show up within a few weeks but of yet there's been no sign of him and my dimensions are still sealed off!

I'm really hoping Tana-chan will visit. last time I spoke to him he said he might. I think he may have just been trying to get rid of me. He's like that sometimes. Not that I mind!

My days in this house feel empty. I find myself wondering more and more when they will end, despite the fact i really love little Alchiba. I have my own friends and family, though, and I want to return to them.

Simon still isn't back. Kancho said to let him take his time. Meanwhile, Alchiba and I have actually managed to befriend some of Simon's pets in his absence. Colin, Aorta, and Scylla are all very nice! I also think Skywise might be warming up to me. ^^ As perhaps even Noska! Edwards and Griswald keep their distance, though, as does Tarpeia. In fact, I tried to clean out her nest and she bit me! She didn't break skin, so I guess it was a warning bite, but now I know she's not friendly and I shouldn't let Alchiba anywhere near her.

Lemon and Yttrium were inside for a bit today due to sprinkling rain outside. They teased poor Alchiba! Why is everyone here so poorly behaved? I told Rikard he should keep a better hand on the two of them, but he just laughed and gave Alchiba some candy. I took the candy away; Alchiba's only a baby and shouldn't be eating sweets like that! Thankfulyl Alchiba didn't understand what the candy was so he let me take it away.

I'm starting to get a headache. Grr...

I'm really starting to get worried about Alchiba. He's really far too small for his age. I was a small baby, but he's not a human. I thought his kind were supposed to grow faster than humans. Apparently, they actually grow slower.

I would bring him by the headquarters and have him checked out, but something tells me not to. It's like a bad feeling in the pit of my stomach, only it's in the back of my head. This has happened before; it usually means one of the others is trying to tell me something. I'm not as connected to them, though, so I can never be sure what.

I tied to ask Kancho about it, but he's too busy with another project.

Simon stillisn't back. He went a friend's house. I don't think I mentioned that yet.

It seems like there's a lot of stuff going on no one will tell me about. It's very confusing. Still not Kabuto, still no way to get home, and now I'm basically in charge of Alchiba completely, though Sally helps a little. I didn't sign on to this to care for someone else's baby. Alchiba is a good kid and all, but he's not supposed to be my responsibility, and more and more I find myself resenting this. I did buy him a bear in the market yesterday. I think he likes it. He's so quiet! It's frustrating! How am I supposed to be able to know what a baby who doesn't talk and barely makes any noise is thinking??

I seriously need a break from all this. I'm going to call Tanaka one more time. Maybe if I start sobbing hysterically he'll come.

I found out Kancho's project. Apparently, it's a Japanese ghost. She's inside a lantern and her name is Oiwa. I've heard of her, but I don't think Kancho wants my input on the subject anyway. Mayba Tana-chan will have some information. He's supposed to fly in tomorrow.

He had better actually be on that plane, or I will go to Japan and drag him here myself.

Alchiba mostly played with his piano today. It's this old Casio piano with a place for ROM packs that have premade songs on them. All the packs are missing, though. I'm going to see if I can't find any on eBay or something. If I had some of those, Alchiba could amuse himself for hours without me needing to be around.

I just need to figure out Em's eBay password. Shouldn't be too hard. She really needs to be more creative about these things.

Alas, sorry for not writing recently. But we've been ever so busy! First, Tana-chan arrived, and he even pecked me on the cheek in greeting! ^_________^ He immediately set about reorganizing the house... he got into a small fight with Kancho over that... sweatdrop Max and Sally finally got to go visit that resort planet they'd been itching to, and Tana-chan's been cooking. It's soooooo nice to have food from my homeland every night! And Tana-chan looks so cute in that apron! ^^ He's such a good cook, and fish is his specialty, which is great because I looove fish! Yum! And Tana-chan lets me help out in the kitchen! Mostly I make the soup and rice, which is fine. He brought over a brand new rice cooker from Japan with all the trimmings! Perfect rice every time!

I think Alchiba probably likes this most of all. He's been much mroe interested in the meals since tana-chan arrived. I don't blame him. Max is good at cooking for a lot of people, but... Tana-chan's food is just delicious! And somehow he manages to get a full-course meal prepared so quickly!

Of course, Tana-chan said he wanted to go to Busch Gardens and ride the coasters, so... road trip! I think maybe in hindsight taking Alchiba wasn't a great idea. He didn't like the crowd and all and huddled down in his shady stroller the whole time. The parts he did like were the animal show and boat ride. He cried on the train so miserably! Tana-chan and I took turns holding him and went riding on the coasters. They were so much fun! I looooove Alpengeist and Apollo's Chariot! I also enjoyed the Irish music and dance show, thoug Tana-chan and Alchiba left that early. ^^;

Tana-chan has changed a lot since I saw him last. he's still his same grumpy self, but he's... mellowed a bit, and is actually okay with taking care of Alchiba. He made me change the diaper though. crying But Alchiba only needed his diaper changed once -- he was otherwise a real dear about using the toilet! But the toilets there were awful. crying

It was a fun trip, though. I got to spend time with Tana-chan away from this House. It was such a relief! We spent some time talking, and I confessed my misery to him. He was actually nice about it, and recommended I take at least an hour a day just for myself, which is a great idea. Read a book, rent a movie -- I suggested we rent an old Godzilla movie tonight, since that's one of Tana-chan's guilty little pleasures. ;D So we have that to look forward to.

It's so good to have a friend nearby!
