Bio:
McCracken was part of the straight edge community for a week (although he is known to have spent time experimenting with drugs and alcohol) and frequented hardcore shows in the Utah valley area. When The Used were looking for a singer, Quinn remembered McCracken from local bands in high school; and when Bert showed up for open auditions, they gave him a CD with recorded music on it. McCracken came back the next day with a complete vocal part for the song, which would become "Maybe Memories". The band welcomed him immediately.
Their drummer at the time, Branden Steineckert, sent their music to John Feldmann whenever they finished a song. Feldmann was indifferent about the material until Branden sent him the song "A Box Full Of Sharp Objects", at which time he knew he wanted to work with The Used.He loved them and flew them all out to his house to record their unofficial demo. After releasing their debut self titled album in 2002,the band toured with Goldfinger and toured with the Warped Tour and Ozzfest. Bert McCracken can play guitar and has just recently refrained from screaming as he almost had to get a throat operation. One of his favourite places to perform is Australia.

Really? I think it depends on the song, some are made to be sad, some are made to be happy.
Anyways, my favourite of all time is A Box Full Of Sharp Objects, but i also adore Maybe Memories, Choke Me, Im A Fake, Greener With The Scenery and Sound Effects And Overdramatics.
