First of all, for those of you who don't know what color guard is, it's the group of people in a marching band that spins flags, rifles, etc.

As you can see from the title, this is a petition to get color guard stuff here on Gaia. I'm a member of color guard and proud of it, and I wish my avi could hold a flag or a rifle. This is for those people on Gaia that are a part of color guard, or just want to have a flag to look cool.

Magical Items List and Pricing Ideas of DOOM

The items list so far:

Item Descriptions: (written by GuardianJohn)
~colorGuard Flag
The colorGuard were the proud bodyguards of the Gambino family. New infantry were required to master this device. // Price: 3000 gold
~colorGuard Rifle
The colorGuard were the Gambino family's private bodyguards. This is their rifle for intermediate members. // Price: 6000 gold
~colorGuard Sabre
Only the best and most skilled members of the colorGuard could wield this sabre. // Price: 9000 gold

Note: There are many different color choices with the flags and rifles, seeing as the poles can be different, or the tape on the rifles can be different; there are just too many to list them all here. However, a few different ways to hold the flags, rifles, and sabres are listed below:
Flags: Straight up and down, cradled, shoulder-hip angle, floating in mid-air, or stripped (thanks Kani Dectsani!).
Rifles: Horizontally, floating in mid-air, or cradled.
Sabres: Horizontally, shoulder-hip angle, or with the dull part of the blade resting on the shoulder. (Thanks, Lost Squirrel! heart )
I will try to take some pictures of these different holding positions with some members of my guard, but it will take awhile, so please, be patient!
New! It could be possible to also have some make-up designs to go along with the uniforms. I know that there are petitions out for make-up and stuff, but still, it could work, ne? I'll try to make some examples when my computer starts working again.

Pricing Suggestions:
Swing Flags = 500 gold
Big Flags = 750 gold
Rifles = 1000-1300
Sabres = 1500-2000 gold
(suggested by my friend and fellow guard member, Meghan heart )

Swing Flags/Big Flags = 1000-3000 gold
Rifles = 2000 gold
Sabres = 8000-10000 gold
(suggested by my friend, GuardianJohn heart )

I think an easy way for making your flags would be to have it like the bouquet making system.

You collect tape, a pole, and different amounts of fabrique 3nodding

Just a suggestion, though, so the mod's would take it as a bit friendlier to make. Maybe this can happen when the Gambino family comes back? 3nodding

This is an awesome Vampire guild owned by Nasyki, one of my best friends! You don't have to be in any of the Camarilla Clans to join...you can be a Sabbat, as well, or just a fantasy creature (just ask any of the mods about the creature you are/want to be).

Magical Updates of DOOM

9/28/06: We finally reached 300 sigs!!! YAY! Also, my good friend and Onee-sama, GuardianJohn wrote some item descriptions pour moi. Be sure to check them out!

7/21/06: More new edits by Eiram2006. Such amazingness. Guard camp also ended today; band camp starts on Monday.

7/16/06: NEW EDITS! YAY!

7/14/06: We got one computer fixed last night, so all is well. AVATAR IS AWESOME. I'm currently watching the new episode(s). My first week of guard camp has already come to a close, and we have first production almost finished. The petition also has a new affiliate. Please check it out!

6/26/06: Okay. So, all three of my computers at home are on the fritz/completely screwed up, so I won't be on much at all until we get at least one of them fixed (please, PLEASE let it be mine! I've been waiting to get it fixed for MONTHS!). The only time I can update sigs and stuff is when and if I can get to the library (where I was at the time of this update), so please, if your name isn't added to the list right away, DON'T BE ANGRY! My apologies. I'll try my best to get to the library as much as possible, but I can't guarantee anything. Gah, I think I spelled guarantee incorrectly. I need to go back to school. sweatdrop

11/11/05: Added a rifle example and a new banner. They aren't the best, but together, they took me about two hours to make. stressed I'll try to work on some more examples soon.

11/10/05: Added another big flag example. I'm working on getting some rifle and sabre examples, but it's really hard doing it on MS Paint. sweatdrop I don't have any fancy programs to do some editing, and I don't have a tablet, so I'm trying my best. I've also decided that if this thread gets any regular bumpers, I'll start an official bumper list. mrgreen Another suggestion has been added to the Suggestions post. That's about it for now.
